heck ya you can!!! if you cant directly do it from irshell, then you can start your music, then launch xmb then start your video there.

you can remove it anytime you want. just delete the files that are associated with IR shell.

First you need to apply the patch that is shown in this video, then take a look to my other irshell videos, there is one called "how to launch UMD.... etc" take a look and you will find out more.

I have gotten to step 6, i have tried enableing and disabling the plugin, and changing the kernal from 1.5 to 5.xx and combinations, i cant get it to work. When i select the irshell (the one with the leaf) in the game directory the screen just goes black. I have tried like 8 times, please help me!!! I have a fat PSP with 5.00 m33 CFW

i finally got my cfw and installed and i have IRShell now. but some questions:

1. i have 3 icons for IRShell in my games folder now(disabled the autoboot). the first one is a corrupted one. the second is for kernel 1.5(can't start it) and then there's the leaf one. may i delete the first two? i don't want so many icons

2. should i get the 5.0 version now? is it better?

3. deleting: you mean i should delete the IRShell folder+seplugins+the things it added in the psp folder or just backup+format?

OK, 1.- you can delete the other irshell's.pbp, keep the green leaf one,

2.- It's better if you use the latest irshell version.

3.- if you want to completly delete irshell from your ms, you must delete all the folders, that you copied when installing, for the seplugins folder just delete the irsautoboot.prx. and the same for the game folders

That way there will be no trace of irshell in your ms

this only works with cfw, ou can launch all that files from irshell, to get rid of irshell younjust need to delete it from your memorycard

that icon is only useful if you are using fw 1.50 or using the 150 kernell add-on, if you don't know what i mean and you are using cfw higher than 3.xx just use the green leaf icon

alright i got it all set up. But i promise i've got one LAST question. How do u feel about irshell. i mean is it really worth the 30 mb on your psp? I just don't see anything special here. And i've even searched youtube to see the advantages of irshell but am not conviced. IS IT WORTH HAVING?

it's worth for me, i have an 8 gigs ms so i don't worry in space, i use it for reading books, play music while playing games, and the best of all acces to my games through nethost, there are also some other things that makes it a more useful "xmb" that not the psp original, plus the skins and other customization options, such as launch homebrew directly from the icons on the irshell menu. Try it, it's always your decision to use it or not.
