this is wonderful! thank you so much, the photos are great! Charlie Feathers is a favorite of mine, so it was nice to see such warm family photos of him! Glad he was a super dad! Thank you again! :)
Hi Wanda, your dad is this best, if any body ask`s me "what is rockabilly" i just say listen to Charlie Feathers, that`s rockabilly, love hepkatz1 (UK)
Thank you Wanda for sharing all these wonderful pics of your father.I had the chance to see him on stage one time in my life in London in 1990.I enjoy to see this vidéo and to post it on my facebook. He was so great and he's a part of rockabilly and country history.
You can hear your dad's musical influence in the sound of Bob Dylan & The Band , as well as all the rest of the country rockers. He's still alive, isn't he ?
A brilliant insight into a brilliant talent. Styles come and go, but I'll always go back to Charlie, have been now for over 20 years. His music's the gift that keeps on giving, and when my 18-month-old son's old enough, I'll be passing it on to him, too!
Great! I met Bubba in the Hideaway in Memphis in 2003, he did a couple of songs for us with his band (me and my friend) said sorry for not having a double bass and dedicated them to his 'friends' from England, we had been talking at the bar beforehand. It was one of the highlights of my trip, I never saw Charlie perform but that was a great second best. Happy days (nights!).
wow, Charlie was your pops!!!! What a guy! You should know your dads music is still getting folks bopping on a regular basis on the London Rockabilly Scene and beyond!!!
Thank you so much for sharing your personal photos with us all. Its greatly appreciated. I have only just been introduced to your dad's music, thanks to a Blegian freind of mine. I just love his music...you can feel his heart in them all.....he sounds as if he was a lovely and sincere man. So thank you again....xx

Thank you so much for being so generous with all the images! Your father was one of the most unique voices in music, period. Also, one of the most enjoyable...he had so much soul and feeling as well as just the right amount of humor and quirkiness to really stir it up!
Thanks for sharing those pictures Wanda! Charlie had so many great songs, like Peepin' Eyes, I've Been Deceived, One Hand Loose, Too Much Alike, etc. I love his music.
In the photo booth pic at 1:08, he's wearing the striped sportcoat with black collar which is the same as Elvis wore in 1956 - as did Roy Orbison. They bought'em at Lansky's.
Your Dad rocked! I've been out of the rockabilly scene for many years now, but I still try to sing like Charlie when I'm driving, nobody could hiccup quite like him. And I love the Man in Love song. Did your dad really date girls with speech impediments? Those songs are great fun.
My favorite Charlie Feathers song was "I Forgot to Remember to Forget", recorded by Elvis and by The Beatles during one of their "Live at the BBC" sessions.
hi, just like to say that your father was an amazing man even though i never met him but i have read a lot about him and also got quite a few cd's of him. god bless
Thank you very much for posting this video. I first read about Charlie Feathers in 1984 and how he was an influence on Elvis and one of the biggest unsung heroes of country and rock. It has taken all this time for me to finally hear him. Thank you for making this great compilation. Very good editing and music!
Thanks for this great tribute. I have been a big fan of your Dad ever since I happened to hear 'One Hand Loose' on a Spokane station while driving across Washington state years ago.
One of the greatest musicians of the 20th century. Charlie is the man! He ranks alongside other Holly Springs veterans like Fred Mcdowell and Junior Kimbrough. A true innovator who deserves more recgonition then he's given. Charlie i love you! Rest in peace.
Thank you for showing us fans your family photos. I have to say Charlie Feathers being a Rockabilly legend is a great influence to me in my guitar playing. Also there along with Hank Williams, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Burnette, Johnny Cash and others. R.I.P Charlie and may the spirit of your music never fade away
