I would love to win the Carol's Daughter Hold and Control because it would definately help my edges!! I have a far hairline and it looks like I have a five-head XD and I'm only 15!!! I had my last perm in July and ever since then I've been transitioning.I love it, but my only issue is my edges ! Years of tight hairstyles and braiding left my edges damaged. I would so love to win this product. I actuall did the big chop myself, in my bathroom mirror this past August. I know, I know. Not the best idea. But all things being equal, I love my natural hair. It is really difficult trying to lay them down for styles (the scarf after styling does NOT always help - unfortunately). I love love my edges because like the rest of my hair it does what it wants. Whenever I try to tame it with gels they either curl up immediately or they stay put for a while before doing their own thing. I haven't found anything yet that works, but i keep trying. Maybe this giveaway will be the answer to my prayers.

my edges? anybody can look at my edges and tell they need some serious HELP!!! i have such a hard time laying them down, even though they're almost non-existent. The fact that they're so fine and sparse means that they only lay down with heavy gels, which I hate b/c of the hard/crunchy/flaky factors. They do lay down with lighter products, but don't last more than 30 minutes, then they're back frizzy. I've heard so many great things about CD's Macadamia H&C Smoother, but just can't afford it!

my edges are out of control since i went natural. it is so hard to keep then intact i have tried several edge control items such as olive oil edge control. it doesn't work at all for my hair. so i am very interested in trying the carol's daughters macadamia hold. i hope this is the end of my troubles if i win and try this product.

My edges lay down pretty well with the scarf method but not for long esp after the 1st day. I don't "like" using gel all the time but I do to hold my hair. This product seems like it would give me a nice, sleek finish.
I have been natural for 3 months now and my edges are the same as they have always been. Since I was little my mom has always told me that my edges are creepy crawly lol because they would lay flat for a few minutes then creep their way back up. I still have that problem til this day. I have been relaxer free for one year now, and I am still in search of a good edge tamer. I currently use olive oil eco styler gel and it flakes everytime. I have been embarrassed on more than one occasion by someone saying what's in your hair and by having a couple of friends attempt to rake the gunk out of my hair. Usually I don't bother with my edges because I like them the way they are. I don't want to try and slick down my edges trying to create the illusion of a seamless hairline. My edges were ripped off when I tried to put on a lace front wig and I didn't know what I was doin'. I had glue all over my forehead and all over my edges. When I took the wig off my edges were gone! lol. So I've been working on growing them back doing massages w/ oils. I would love to try the Carol's daughter on my edges. That would be great! I have been natural exactly one year and one month. I honestly, never had edges until I stopped using chemicals/relaxers. I can remember wearing my hair in styles that would hide my edges or I kept them tappered. Now as a natural, I try to maintain my edges by keeping them moisturized as well as protected but would LOVE to have the Carol's Daughter product in hopes to strengthen them even more. My edges got grilled when I Bar B qued last summer, lol! They growing back though. I actually just use some shea butter on them and rub them back, that normally works out but I would love to try that product.
I love my edges but they are BUCK WILD! Ild think I have they slicked down in the morning with my ecostyler gel and when I get to school and look in the mirror those girls are kinked up and curled up all around my face LOL! I need that macadamia slick down to slick my edgs DOWN! lol
My edges have been through a lot! From perms to braids and tight ponytails. I still have trouble keeping the little bit of hair that grows in on my temples, on my head. I believe that the Carol's Daughter Macadamia Hold & Shine has the potential to slick my unruly, yet beautifully curly edges down. :) It would definitely be a great product to try out!

I'd love to try the smoother on my 5 year old. I'm transitioning and I am just learning how to care for my daughters natural hair. Her hair has done a complete 180 since i have taken the advice of youtubers like on how to care for natural hair. The only thing that i still have trouble with is smoothing out her edges. I'm a transitioner and my edges are a frizzy mess. Between yoga and everyday activities, by the end of the day the last thing they want to do is lay down and 'act right' lol. I have problems with my edges and no matter what I put on them, within 5 minutes they have reverted back, and they really don't have any true curl pattern. They're just puffy & Pure HORROR lol. When I 1st big chopped it was such a relief (BC May 2010), and I saw my little baby hairs and I thought they were nice and so cute. But, on the days I want to look polished, I started using olive oil get to maintain and lay down my front curlies. However, I need something with a little more hold, so that my sides won't pucker up. I have kitchens you know the stuiff you hide in the back of your head. Mine are all around the front. They laugh at jams, gel, and get a hoot out of heat. My daddy calls them baebae kids, I think he's right. My edges are some timing sometime they will and sometime they won't. Mine lean to the won't more then will.

My edges are going through some things, but I am in the process of getting them healthy again. They're thin and I don't like to put heavy products on them so product with nice hold that will slick them down nice and smooth would be perfection.

I would love to win the Carol's Daughter Hold and Control because it would definately help my edges!! I have a far hairline and it looks like I have a five-head XD and I'm only 15!!! (15 year olds should not look like their balding!!) I try to use gel to push my baby hair forward but it doesnt work and it ends up looking frizzy and uncontrolled and just stupid! I would so love to win this product. I actuall did the big chop myself, in my bathroom mirror this past August. I know, I know. Not the best idea. But all things being equal, I love my natural hair. With the exception of maybe my edges and my nape. The hair in those areas just will not cooperate. I've tried a few things, but nothing works. Soooooo, of course I would love to try Carols Daughter. It is really difficult trying to lay them down for styles (the scarf after styling does NOT always help - unfortunately). I love love my edges because like the rest of my hair it does what it wants. Whenever I try to tame it with gels they either curl up immediately or they stay put for a while before doing their own thing. I haven't found anything yet that works, but i keep trying. my edges? anybody can look at my edges and tell they need some serious HELP!!! i have such a hard time laying them down, even though they're almost non-existent. The fact that they're so fine and sparse means that they only lay down with heavy gels, which I hate b/c of the hard/crunchy/flaky factors. They do lay down with lighter products, but don't last more than 30 minutes, then they're back frizzy. I've heard so many great things about CD's Macadamia H&C Smoother, but just can't afford it!

I have been natural for 3 months now and my edges are the same as they have always been. Since I was little my mom has always told me that my edges are creepy crawly lol because they would lay flat for a few minutes then creep their way back up. I still have that problem til this day. I have been relaxer free for one year now, and I am still in search of a good edge tamer. I currently use olive oil eco styler gel and it flakes everytime. I have been embarrassed on more than one occasion by someone saying what's in your hair and by having a couple of friends attempt to rake the gunk out of my hair. My edges were ripped off when I tried to put on a lace front wig and I didn't know what I was doin'. I had glue all over my forehead and all over my edges. When I took the wig off my edges were gone! lol. So I've been working on growing them back doing massages w/ oils. I would love to try the Carol's daughter on my edges. That would be great! I have been natural exactly one year and one month. I honestly, never had edges until I stopped using chemicals/relaxers. I can remember wearing my hair in styles that would hide my edges or I kept them tappered. Now as a natural, I try to maintain my edges by keeping them moisturized as well as protected but would LOVE to have the Carol's Daughter product in hopes to strengthen them even more. My edges have been through a lot! From perms to braids and tight ponytails. I still have trouble keeping the little bit of hair that grows in on my temples, on my head. Because my edges are soooo uniquely frizzy, they only respond to relaxers. At this time they are going through withdrawals and I am trying my best to convince them that being natural is the best and healthiest way to be. I would love to try Carol's Daughter Macadamia Hold in hopes of finding that magical cure to ween my edges from that creamy crack, The Relaxer.

Hi Ladies :) I am newly natural, I BC'd in June of 2011 an I'm still having a hard time trying to find staple products. :( right now I'm using Eco Styling Gel to lay my edges down, UNFORTUNATELY, that hasn't been able to tame my curly edges. I believe that the Carol's Daughter Macadamia Hold & Shine has the potential to slick my unruly, yet beautifully curly edges down. :) It would definitely be a great product to try out!

Hello ladies! I am 3 years natural and I am use to using gel to lay may edges down. lol. The only thing is the gel tends to leave flakes on my hair. I'd love to try the smoother on my 5 year old. I'm transitioning and I am just learning how to care for my daughters natural hair. Her hair has done a complete 180 since i have taken the advice of youtubers like on how to care for natural hair. The only thing that i still have trouble with is smoothing out her edges. I'm a transitioner and my edges are a frizzy mess. Between yoga and everyday activities, by the end of the day the last thing they want to do is lay down and 'act right' lol. I've tried gels which can be drying and also my hair has laughed at many of those. It seems like the edges are always the hardest to manage. I am now 10 months into my natural journey yay!!! Lol but I'm very proud of my transition. I would love to try the Carol's Daughter Macadamia Hold & Control Smoother. I have problems with my edges and no matter what I put on them, within 5 minutes they have reverted back, and they really don't have any true curl pattern. They're just puffy & Pure HORROR lol. I think it would be the last piece to my hair puzzle if it truly works on me as it does on others.

When I 1st big chopped it was such a relief (BC May 2010), and I saw my little baby hairs and I thought they were nice and so cute. But, on the days I want to look polished, I started using olive oil get to maintain and lay down my front curlies. However, I need something with a little more hold, so that my sides won't pucker up. I have kitchens you know the stuiff you hide in the back of your head. Mine are all around the front. They laugh at jams, gel, and get a hoot out of heat. Okay as far as my edges they remind me of popcone (country accent); they are like little kernels and when I step out side they "BLOW" up. I have tried so many different products, but this Houston humidity can beat the slickest of edges. Please please please pick me :)

Im a 14 year old . Did the big chop on sept.19 then got a shape up sometime in october. I had loong hair & i didn't quite like my hair so i got a wig . January 20th made 4 since post bc .. & Im currently wearing braids . Ofcourse they have been a few times i wore my hair out .
