Albert was of another world. Some people called him crazy. But he was a light that burned so brightly, that he could never have stayed here too long. I believe he had great courage to stand as he did, like Cecil Taylor, Ornette and all those other beautiful musicians who added to, and shaped, the soundtrack of my life. I just wish I could thank them for the gift they gave, and still give.
