Adriana Evans - Love Me 1997

Was "Seein Is Believin" the first release off of her self-titled debut cd? If it was or wasn't, what month was her first song released. I'm investigating to see if her or Erykah Badu hit the airwaves first. I know it was about the same time.

@soulsista1220 'Seeing Is Believing' is on the first album. I can't remember exactly whose single dropped first. If I'm correct, Adriana dropped in the spring/early summer '97. Erykah's album definitely dropped in the spring that year. I remember buying the single for 'On & On' with album snippets on the B-side

@soulsista1220 well technically, Adriana Evans was out first. She was first featured on Dred Scott's 'Check The Vibe' in '94 (it's on youtube). Scott produced alot of tracks off her first album. Truthfully, alot of her songs sound as if they were his leftover beats. Either way, they made a dope music together.

I remember seeing the music video for "seeing is believing" back in 1997. I was only in grade 10 and broke so I begged my mother for 20 bucks so I could purchase this CD. Had it ever since and still listen to it.
