For those of you who can remember how big were 1927? I was in my very 20's & "stuck" between Aussie pub rock & indie music when 1927 first hit the airwaves; still enjoy them today.
Which song and music video of the band 1927 has the ghost hiding behind a pillar in the background. I am not joking, a real ghost! I remember seeing this on an episode of The Extraordinary back in the early 1990s. The music video was filmed at an old mine site or quarry. Experts analyzed the video and could not explain it away.
I can still remember when they relesed this album. Its a shame that it never matched the hype of their first album. Great song, and watched and enjoyed them live many many times.

Australians arent just good at cricket and music we are great at everything we do. We are without any doubt the greatest country on earth. The only thing bad about us is our legal system, police force and our politians.
If you're comparing our politicians to other countries they're actually good. There are few countries with politicians better than Australia (northern Europe and Canada perhaps). Politics in the USA and UK is stunningly corrupt and incompetent compared to ours.
How can you say Australia is the best country in the world when you state "The only thing bad about us is our legal system, police force and our politians". That's just about everything !!. Where is the legal system more just? Where is the political system more democratic, more tolerant ? What's wrong with our police service? It's easy to make throw-away criticisms of your country, but you betray "the best country in the world" by your thoughtlessness.
Firstly, dont be saying I make throw away comments or that I am betraying my country. I had the misfortunes of having a great deal to do with our legal sytem and the police force. If you think our justice system is fair then I gotto wonder what planet ur on.Sure it may be better than most other countries but that doesnt mean its good or just. I can give many examples of unfair court cases, not only from criminal but civil as well. Our courts abuse their power, one example that happened recently
Head of our drug force was busted in his "massive" plantation by own men, used his position to rid his comp.The police force beat the living crap out of hippies while they were protesting against a new urain mine. RUMOR has it that the cops were issued with live rounds. Senior cops busted 5 times over the limit with a very high alcohol content each time. Yet still driving legally.Mum caught drink driving, 1st offence, just over legal limit, jailed 6 mths, loss of lic 2 years, shall I go on..!!
cont... was about 4 weeks ago when a South Aussie Judge made it illegal for anyone to bring up a government ministers criminal past. This was in responce to the government hiring as the transport minister a man with a huge history of driving offences, when this became public, that law was passed. Another one... Due to authoritve influences a Judge gave a suspended sentence to a man(son of a powerful business man) shooting a innocent milkman in the head. I got lots more if you want them!!
So my thoughtlessness must be the same as ur ignorance, you think we live in a fair and just country, i think you have no idea of what you are talking about. There is no such thing as justice or equality in Australia for the majority of people!! try voting for the say anti whaling political party and see who will actually get ur vote. Democracy ur dreaming!!! What country do you think you live in??

I too am a patriot but at this moment in time my country sucks and your complaints are echoed here in G.B.

I havent heard this song since I was in Australia 16 years ago, still sounds great, pity 1927 never made it in Europe.
