He was true to the music he wrote in terms of who he was as a person, where as MJ made songs about peace and love, and then molested children. As far as the beatles or elvis, I was never into them, and only recently got into the beatles like two years ago. so, to say he wasn't relevant, that's a biased statement. he wasn't relevant to YOU, but he was to millions of others. besides, justin timberlake, usher, chris brown, ne-yo, etc. all modeled themselves after MJ. i don't care if you hate him, just be real.

Bigger than the Beetles (who were the greatest Pop Band/Group), Madonna and Elvis combined. He had the best selling album of ALL time guys. You cant argue there. O&A always try to be iconoclasts. They hate to be sheep. They've based their career on going against the norm, being the naysayers. If people praise someone too much, O&A have to do the opposite and tear them down. And vice versa. Most other radio DJs did what everyone was doing and praised MJ all day, so boring. But O&A realized that it'd be more interesting to do the opposite. And that's why they're a successful radio duo, they are original, and never follow the rest of the pack.
