Damn this is scary. What have the policy makers done? Karl Marx was right - Capitalism will lead to internal tensions which will lead to its destruction eventually being replaced by Communism (a stateless and classes society. Industry cannot govern themselves i.e banks. He also argued that capitalism will end through the organized actions of the working class. If half of what this video is true we're in deep shit. Imagine that - the US - not a super power.

Marx wasn't right about anything. A real free market economy would have taken care of this problem years ago when it was much smaller, and would have been virtually painless. It's the Fed and government intervention that caused the mess we have today. The markets tried to re balance back in '01, but the Fed pushed it off another 7 years. Now it's many times worse. We don't have a free market. We have a Marx style central planned economy. I wish more people would figure this out.
