Does anyone know of a movie where they beat a thermal motion sensor by heating the room up, and using a wetsuit? It's a heist kind of movie. Made in the 80's-early 90's. Other than that, all i remember is the antagonist and protagonist went to colege together, one got caught changing his grades and got booted. Can't remember the damn name and it's driving me nuts (this episode brought it up, DAMN YOU MYTHBUSTERS! LOL)
@danielhh47 Thanks! I'll have to find a copy now. Ever since i first watched this episode, that's been bugging me. Tried googling what little of the plot i remembered, but no dice lol.
There are easier ways to defeat PIR sensors, Easiest would be using a 1 watt or greater IR LED on a PWM circuit to slowly raise the duty cycle effectively blinding the PIR sensor to everything but the LED. A premitive way of defeating it would be slowly moving a IR reflective infront of it. PIR sensors are not cameras, they have no imageing capability, they simply convert IR light into current that is than messured, if that current value changes to much in a predetermined time it triggers.
Suckers never heard of multispectral
