I wonder how many of you people even know about horses. There are certain breeds that dance like this. They are BRED for it. All breeds just don't do the SAME EXACT thing as each other.
people complaining about the treatment of the horse get a life. It's called horse dancing, part of the culture not only in Pakistan/India but spain/mexico all over the world. And im sure the owner knows the horse better than you. and about the bits there is something called rubber bits you havent looked inside the mouth to see what bit it is right? go complain about your evil horse rodeo where horses often get their ribs broken first then come here.
How the fuck is this horse being hurt? Its not like hes hitting him or anything. People shut the fuck up and sit where you need to sit. Not in a fucking computer seat insulting other people you dont even fucking know.
Look at how tight the bit is pulling on the mouth and notice the horses mouth is OPEN, which means it is in A LOT of pain, do you know what the bit does in the horses mouth when it's pulled? It's EVER SO painful for the poor animal, And the horse has OBVIOUSLY been beaten before by the way he moves his head away when the 'owner' goes to pat his neck, and it's absolutly terrofied.

that horse was scared shitless. it was rearing because that stupid man was trying to make him go forward when his reins are behind his legs. he was only rearing to get away from the pressure. idiots

this is not how a horse should be trained before the lead is placed behind his legs more ground work needs to be done so that he is not fearful of it. if he is taught this way the dancing will not be for him what it is to the best of dancing horses, instead it will be a terrifying thing. whoever this is should teach him first that the lead is nothing to be afraid of and start first by touching it against his legs while it is not attached to his bridle.
@meredithmz <.< cowboys and Gaoucho's were among the worst to train horses....if they need anything to teach them it would be the horse its self but since people can't understand animals yet they need to watch the horse. and its more these people on this video in specific as well as people who train their horses the exact same way that need to learn some people who teach their horses to dance aren't that bad

I would just like to see some patience and thought for the horse in this video. This is not actually training the horse to do anything. It guesses what it is supposed to do based on confusion and fright. How frightening for him. There are better, healthier methods, but they take some time and patience.

I don't see how this is abuse any more than those awful tie-downs some riders use under the excuse of teaching collection. Let's face it, training horses for something as extreme as this might require a little force. Obviously, the man in the video was gentle to the horse. The horse looks like a young one, so obviously he's going to pull and jitter. It's natural. No abuse here.
I'm not going to say that the horse wasn't well-looked after, because he obviously was. But really, putting that nylon rope under him like that is causing him nothing but confusion and discomfort.
I am always surprised how people(that often have no idea at all, about training, riding etc) are so quick to judge. You can clearly see that this horse is well looked after.
This horse is fit and well feed, unlike a lot of pet horses you see on you tube.
To have a horse in many of these countries is a priviledge and they would let their family go hungry before their horse did.
So all you critics go do something good with all that compassion, donate to your local rescue horse fund .
I think it is just strange to people who are not accustomed to this type of practice with horses - in the USA, they make horses buck to ride and there are people for and against it. there will always be people for and against most types of riding, that is human nature! people should be more tolerant of others...

@fresian2007 I do know horses and I frequently ride and work with them. I learned so far that there are ways to train horses without forcing them to preform movements. Horses are very sensibel animals, using force is of no need. The way this horse is trained, is not a way I can agree with. The horse clearly shows signs of distress. Look at the mouth, the ears and the tail. This horse does not enjoy this training at all.
@MartineVelde -as I said this was a new horse..he was nervous, this was his first introduction to the beach and crowds. he was also a stallion. I rode this horse, the attitude you see you was his behavior to all the new surroundings and sights. I have also owned horse since I was 12 years old. I was very careful before paying any of this guys for the use of their horse that he/she was fat, healthy and well cared for. I do care about it. This is but a tiny snippet video.
For me the most important thing when working together with a horse is creating a way of communication that my horse will understand, without forcing the horse to do something.
@MartineVelde -and it was not force, the line was a thin nylon used only as a guide. the horse was new and nervous to the new surroundings. the other horses on the beach if you could see them were calm, relaxed and even run to their handlers as horse here in the US run to the barns. This tiny video really does not give the full atmosphere as being there.

I've owned one, And rode one. If you Watch REALLY closely, He's Moving too quickly, Therefor frightening the horse. If You Really knew horses, you'd know that that is NOT the way to saddle horse, you stay slow, and Calm to keep the horse clam as well. Its common sense dude...

oh my gosh you people, these horse know how to rear because they are trained, it's just a trick, he didn't look like he enjoyed it but I've seen horses in English, Western & dressage that worked harder and looked more aggravated than this when they were being trained to do something. you need to get educated before you steam off.

Personally, I don't tie humans up and hit them in the legs until they dance. I don't do that with my horse either. He is not equal to me, but horses should not be treated like equipment either. Perhaps that is the point of all of these comments. We are not all extremists.

@MartineVelde Knowing horses as I do..NO I don't call it abuse. That was merly a light rope under him being used as a guide is all. Do you know horses? ever rode one or owned one?

@fresian2007 I do know horses and I frequently ride and work with them. I learned so far that there are ways to train horses without forcing them to preform movements. Horses are very sensibel animals, using force is of no need. The way this horse is trained, is not a way I can agree with. The horse clearly shows signs of distress. Look at the mouth, the ears and the tail. This horse does not enjoy this training at all.

@MartineVelde -as I said this was a new horse..he was nervous, this was his first introduction to the beach and crowds. he was also a stallion. I rode this horse, the attitude you see you was his behavior to all the new surroundings and sights. I have also owned horse since I was 12 years old. I was very careful before paying any of this guys for the use of their horse that he/she was fat, healthy and well cared for. I do care about it. This is but a tiny snippet video.

For me the most important thing when working together with a horse is creating a way of communication that my horse will understand, without forcing the horse to do something.

@MartineVelde -and it was not force, the line was a thin nylon used only as a guide. the horse was new and nervous to the new surroundings. the other horses on the beach if you could see them were calm, relaxed and even run to their handlers as horse here in the US run to the barns. This tiny video really does not give the full atmosphere as being there.

I mean, i own a horse, and I ride and I also train her things but she needs very long to learn a thing. everyone has his or her own way to train a horse, that is ok, but i don't think, that you need to ride a horse to know, how you think it is the best training a horse. that doesn't mean, that I like your way, but it is your way to do so. i can't say what you were doing directly with him, so as what you used the rope. But think of it: everyon can say his/her opinion!

I've owned one, And rode one. If you Watch REALLY closely, He's Moving too quickly, Therefor frightening the horse. If You Really knew horses, you'd know that that is NOT the way to saddle horse, you stay slow, and Calm to keep the horse clam as well. Its common sense dude...

OMG the reins are tied under its stomache so its head is stuck up and when he is pushed backwards it pulls evan more and thats what makes him rear trying to GET AWAY FROM IT!!! this is animal cruelity and im going to flag this video!!

oh my gosh you people, these horse know how to rear because they are trained, it's just a trick, he didn't look like he enjoyed it but I've seen horses in English, Western & dressage that worked harder and looked more aggravated than this when they were being trained to do something. you need to get educated before you steam off.

every culture has a different way of handling their horses and livestock. its their way and we as americans cant do anything about it. not that we should in most cases either. dont get me wrong there are things that bother me with the training styles they have. but we need to realize there are some things we cant change. its sucks i know but thats the way life is. its a bitch shit happens and life goes on.

Personally, I don't tie humans up and hit them in the legs until they dance. I don't do that with my horse either. He is not equal to me, but horses should not be treated like equipment either. Perhaps that is the point of all of these comments. We are not all extremists.

You cant compare a child learning to walk with a horse needing to do this, because those people want it to do .. LOL. I am not saying it is getting treated badly, but problably the horse would rather be galopping on the beautiful day on the beach..than perform stupid so called dance moves.
