The criminal did not care about sharing the truth until he wanted MONEY from Dave, money that he did not earn in any way. The private sexual affairs of Letterman was absolutely no business of the blackmailer and his only concern was making a buck. I think I would choose A in this matter. The problem lies in the whole demanding money thing. The second you start demanding money for not telling the truth there is something wrong with you. What would you do in this situation

A) Notify cops en THEN tell it on TV yourself

B) Give him the money and do nothing

C) Let someone else tell the whole thing.

I would go for A, then you get some extra fun out of it
