islam didn't spread by force , islam was attacked and then they retaliated , But even In wars , when west countries fight , they fight with no mercy , kill every body , children , elderly people . but if you go back to wars in the history of Islam , you surely will find that , a leader said to his soldiers : No woman no children are fought . fight those who fight you .. and if don't fight and give up peacefully then let them in peace .
Yup, and that's the biggest problem which hurts the Muslim ummah. We all need to get back to the true teachings of Islam and do away with petty traditions,b/c when you mix traditions with Islam it corrupts the essence.

in Islam we believe in Jesus( as a prophet and a word from god ) we believe in the miracle birth and the return of jesus at the end of time
we also believe in the Revelation of the bible
and all the prophets before islam is nothing new it's the religion of abraham ( Believing in one god with no partners )
