  • Looks like 3 hardcore ZBrushers have checked out this video.

  • what mudbox needs is a basemesh creation tool like the Z-spheres

    (that's an imperative statement)

  • so mudbox is actualy like autodesk's version of zbrush?

  • inspiring

  • has anyone tried this for car design?

  • I'm a college student in game development, I can't believe that these products are free! :) It's nice to see a company that actually care about students :P If I ever make my own game studio, I will definitely be using Autodesk for my products!

  • Holy Shit that's amazing.

  • Those folks at autodesk sure love to sculpt weird creatures...

  • Does this animate? Can you rigg this models?

  • Wow!!! GOD LEVEL!!

This is why I like Autodesk softwares.

  • May sw do it better ... bad software, I do not like,

  • wow nice things but IT COST WAY TO MUCH, UP THERE WITH 3DS MAX and that stuff!

  • Im still new to Mudbox and have a problem.I modeled a head from a cube,i like how it came out and i want to make a body. How do i do it?

It would be a lot of help if someone can tell me.

  • all i can do is a stick figure IN 3D yea!

  • Can they only showcase creepy monsters?

Is like an obsession with the deformed human heads. Thumbs up if you're also sick of them.

  • @Swyterzone These products are used for game development/visualization and more often than not creepy monsters are common in video games!

  • sweeeet, cya later fuckin zbrush

  • imagine sonic 4 being recreated with this

  • If you are a student, you can get it completely free from the autodesk website!!!

go to w w w . students . autodesk . c o m , then make a free account using your school email. Then just click get serial, then download.

  • @Cretan1000 You being serious??!!!!

  • @ParkourRockStar Yeah, try it, I've got Mudbox, Maya and Max completely free!!!

    Subscribe if it works!

  • @Cretan1000 sorry no w w w . just (students . autodesk . c o m)

  • @Cretan1000 Sweet man thankz tht really helped me out thankz :)

  • @Cretan1000 that is awesome thank you so much. im downloading right now. this will help out so much for my modeling class now that i am able to work on my stuff at home.

  • @Cretan1000 hi Parkour how did you get them free

  • @midogigo It says in my comment. if you are a student you can get it free by making an account at

students . autodesk . com (omit the spaces)

  • for some reason zbrush is always a month ahead from mudbox in sculpting...

  • Does anybody can buy this software or we have to be student, faculty or something?????

  • @carmelzer You can buy it off Autodesks website but its like $800, or you can do a free month trial. But if you are a student or something you can probably get it at academic superstore for cheaper

  • WOW

    This is amazing!!!

Im curius ho does it contrast with the Zbrush

  • >im curious how much does it cost?

Current List price in the USA is $745USD for Mudbox by itself. It's also part of Autodesk's Maya Entertainment Creation Suite with Maya and Motionbuilder for $4995USD.

  • give me the link from where you downloaded this progam

  • it seems like mudbox has some advantages over Zbrush in some specific areas! im curious how much does it cost?

  • Wow....just...wow.

  • now THIS is the creature creator Spore SHOULD HAVE HAD !

  • I've started mudbox and I am beggining to get used to the program It is easy but you need to have a creativity skill to create something unique.Otherwise you can look at a referance and sculpt it if you can't come up with anything :D

  • mudbox ...!!! me i'm working with 3DSmax its very easy , t dont know if mudbox is so easy or difficult like MAYA ?? someone can tel me please

  • @abeiIle thet interface can be learned in a few days. Very easy

  • @abeiIle maya, max, mudbox are all easy. learn the progran is the easy part

  • @abeiIle let's just say that it would be easy to model using maya/max then you could use mudbox to detail your work. they work hand in hand. controls are like maya and photoshop combined.

  • Thats it, I am going to study Computer Animation. I fucking love this shit.

  • WOW!

  • these monsters are very creative and very well detailed well done keep up the good work :)

  • could u keyframe them and put them into movies? i mean, like, make them move and stuff......

  • @TimmyGdaman

That's why we have Maya and/or 3DS Max

  • Interesting does anyone know where I can go to some autodesk work done I have a stock image of a entrance I want made into a 3d model that can be transfered to a cnc router

  • I tried this and failed misserbly at it :(

  • @greenbullet

In order to use photoshop you have to be good at sketching and painting

In order to use mudbox you have to know the basics of sculpting...

  • @mssssee not ture at all!!!! im no good at drawing, but am an expert in photoshop

  • @mssssee

Completely incorrect. Photoshop is much more than just a program for people who can draw and paint.

  • Well, it looks like it's finally becoming ZBrush. The only cool, different thing I saw was the part with the ear sculpting with the stencil--I mean vector displacement. It looked like it wasn't moving the polygons outward on a 2D plane like a regular displacement map / stencil in Z, but on a 3D plane...interesting.

  • WOW this is amazing! I've always wanted to learn how to use Maya, its too complicated to try and figure it out alone.

  • Mudbox 2011 is awesome , hope Autodesk adds a modeling tool like the ZSphere in

  • Time to get back into mudbox. posing did it for me.

  • @mastershokhan I tried to get that program, it didnt work.

  • респект!!!!

  • good

  • Oh my god!
