@numonemofan actually he is already speaking pretty well and his spanish is prgressing alot.. he loves to speak it, and he asks me "how do you say this in spanish".. ha u actually sound kinda ridiculous what do u mean at his rate? i started learning spanish at the age of 13, now im 19 and speak it better then alot of hispanics who were born here do. im never gonna force him to speak it, as he gets older thats his choice, every child and situation is different. u cant speak for every kid

at his rate he will not speak Spanish very well! I hate to say that, but he will not have the confidence to speak because it seem like hes being given a choice. I have a good friend like that her family is from Guatemala, she understands but refuses to speak. I met a kid last week in Panama about the same age as your son, dad is German, he speaks only german with the dad only spanish with the mom, the dad is very fluent in Spanish, but will not speak to the kid in Spanish

@tekenaabere si tengo un hijo hermano el tiene dos anos... y gracias por las amables palabras.. y si su mama es completamente colombiana.. y nosostros dos estamos tratando de ensenarle espanol en la mejor manera k posible.. pero como has estado tu bro?
