@Supershadowman64 Define "cartoons." If you mean animated shows/movies, they are not "for kids" all the time. Yeah, primetime Nick and Cartoon Network tend to be, but then you find something like Witch Hunter Robin, Roughnecks, South Park, Princess Mononoke, and so on.

With the exception of the music and the Metal Gear-esque outside setup, I have always HATED Area 5. It wasn't until playing this game on the FCE Ultra with Game Genie codes that I saw the end of this game.

The enemies in this level are annoying as hell and can be really difficult to kill, especially those mutant grasshoppers underground that mimic Sonic the Hedgehog's trademark spin attack move. I also hate those spider-like robots and the wearhouses.

When I finished this game I found the best way to acquire and use the scrolls was to get them in Area 3 and save them until nightfall. ;)

Just don't use them on Mecha-Turtle (the boss of Stage 3, because it's immune to them). They work great on Shredder, though I just used Mike's shuriken instead.

If you kill all your turtles at the beginning of this level and use a continue the technodrome is always in the bottom right if i remember...

Well, you probably didn't know this, but the "scroll" weapon is also found back in Level 3. It is located in one of the buildings. If you remember where the building is where you pick up the missles for the turtle van, take the turtle van once you load up and go left and down then right and then down the way you normally went. When you come to a tall building next to a smaller building you can go in, enter the tall building and go all the way to the top, then left, and down one. See what is here

Raph owns any of the building enemies in 1 hit except for those stupid rocks the birds drop.

His hit detection and speed of swing makes him a nice choice in the buildings in level 5.

Don use in the tunnels, for his range and power. In the bottom left hand corner tunnel use any other turtle to get past one of the pocupines.

I heard you mention the fact that getting hit doesn't always make your health bar decrease. I think it does, but my guess is that when that happens, it means that the hit took one fourth of a health block. The mousers take away about a fourth of a block, since the first hit usually shows nothing, but the second will show results in the health bar.

Those spider-enemies and the birds were always a nuisance. I think I used Raph whenever I was in the houses, I remember him 1-hitting the spiders and birds, so this is basically the place where Raph is most useful if Don is unavailable or on low health.
