  • Looks great. I just made myself a few panini with cheese, salami and some iceberg lettuce with pineapple. Very easy.. slice the paninis (sprinkle it with water on the outside), cover it with some cheese and salami, put it in the the oven for 15 minutes. After that cover it with the salad... bon appetit.

  • how do you cook chicken? what degree? what temp? how long?

  • @ilovekpop906 If you have a slow cooker orock pot, just salt the chicken and put it in. Cover with the lid and turn it to high for about 4 hours. Or you can put it in aluminum foil and bake it at 350 (F) for about 25 to 30 minutes.

  • Hi Betty could you share some tender well done steak recipes for us please....

  • @chiquitababy5 Hi! I have a few steaks--some on a kitchen grill, others outdoors. I will be making more this summer! (I always make mine well-done, and they are very tender!) Thanks for your comment!

    --Betty :)

  • d u use frozen chicken??

  • @ashleyfilan Sometimes I use frozen chicken and thaw it in the refrigerator overnight. Or, if I have fresh chicken, then it's ready to prepare for grilling!

  • Betty, what low cost foods would you suggest for someone who is trying to throw a large party, for very hungry people?

  • For party food, you could do pigs in blankets, using Vienna sausage. One recipe makes a lot at a very low cost, and is very filling. For a large party you would need more than 1 recipes worth. Beyond that, you could look at some of my simple dips; they make a lot, and only need some crackers for dipping. Sausage balls with dipping mustard is another large, filling recipe, and everyone loves it! I have a playlist of Party Foods. That might help you choose some inexpensive recipes. Betty :)

  • Omgeeesers.

    You're the bestestess.

    Thanksies!

  • Thanks!

    --Betty :)

  • Hi Betty, If i want to use salt instead of meat tenderizer, how much salt would you recommend for seasoning for those two chicken breasts? I am a complete dummy to seasoning....

Thank you! You recipes look delicious.

  • You should use the same amount of salt as tenderizer. It will work out great@

    --Betty :)

  • my brother has a papillion mix named Remie!!!!!!!! She is a sweety and we all love her a lot!

  • That sounds like a sweet dog! (Nice name, too!)

  • Thanks for your lovely comment! I really appreciate it!

    --Betty :)

  • hey, nice one :)

I just wanna ask, what exacly is pickle relish, because i cant find anything like that in my country :)

  • Pickle relish is just finely diced pickles in pickle juice. It can be either sweet or dill. If you can't find it, just dice up some pickles in very fine pieces! Thanks for your comment!

    --Betty :)

  • Great video Betty thanks :)

  • Thanks for your sweet comment!

    --Betty :)

  • o yea ill lose some weight with that! )sarcasm)

  • The chicken is not fatty, and it's not fried. That should save some fat calories. Thanks for your comment!

    --Betty :)

  • *some* key word

  • Yeah--we all have to eat something, so it's just a matter of doing the best we can to keep the fat and calories down! Thanks for writing!

    --Betty :)

  • wouldnt it be better if you just used whole meal bread?

  • I generally do use whole grain bread. On YouTube, I try to switch things up a bit to keep it different. But whole grain bread is better!

    --Betty :)

  • Wow, that was great! I'm going to make one now. :)

  • I hope your grilled chicken sandwich turned out great! Thanks for your comment!

    --Betty :)

  • i didn't catch how long the chicken is supposed to cook

  • There is no set time for grilling; for chicken, it must be done all the way through--no pink. Just look for that. Thanks for your question, and I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you!

    --Betty :)

  • great tutorial, and great cooking skills.

  • Thanks for your sweet comment! I really appreciate it!

    great video:)

  • Thanks for your lovely comment! I hope you enjoy the sandwich!

    --Betty :)

  • how the hell do u stay so lean with such good food... not right ur hiding something from us ;)

  • No, I'm not hiding anything--I've said this on video and individually to several people. I work hard at staying fit. I eat lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, and tuna. However, I don't deny myself anything! If I want a slice of chocolate fudge cake, I eat a whole apple first, and then just a sliver of cake. It is satisying to me. I also try to work out at the gym 4 days a week. I have done this consistently all my adult life, and it works for me! It's not a diet, just a lifestyle.

    --Betty :)

  • That looks like great sandwich. Some spicy jack cheese melted over top when it's on the grill would be right up my alley. Thanks for sharing!

  • Oh, I like your idea of addint the pepper jack cheese to the sandwich--great combination of flavors! Thanks for the idea--I will try that next time!

    --Betty :)

  • That's a crazy sandwich! I wouldn't finish it in one day ))

P.S. I like your dog! Better show a recipe for a coreean "hot dog" next time )) Lol ! thx for the vid.

  • I don't know why you think it's crazy--most people seem to like the looks of it! Yes, my dog, Remy, is usually lurking in the background when food is being made. Thanks for viewing and commenting!

    --Betty :)

  • Haha 8:38, hide your chicken, he's eying it! :P

  • Yes, Remy has a nose for food, particularly meat! I tell him to stay in his house, but he can't resist coming toward the kitchen. I guess he was ready for his "close up." Thanks for your comment!

    --Betty :)

  • Thanks for your sweet compliment. This is a healthy one--I try to make something for everyone, so you will find some that are useful and some that are not. I really appreciate your comment!

    (Hugs)

    --Betty :)

  • Another good recipe....I am beginning to wish I lived at your house! Your meals look SOOOO delicious.

    UK Hugs to you x

  • Betty you should try out for the food network channel, you are great.

  • Thanks for your sweet comment! I'm happy with YouTube right now!

    --Betty :)

  • this looks so yummy! thank you Betty!

  • You're welcome! I hope you like the sandwich!

    --Betty :)

  • Hi Betty!

I couldn't get dill pickle relish where I live, so I chopped up my homemade cucumber pickles and added it into the mayonnaise instead! The spread was delicious :D

Thanks for all your videos! I love watching them! :D

  • I usually watch these videos while I'm on break at work, I don't why I like torturing my self like this. :)

  • I hope my torturing you is a compliment! Thanks for viewing and commenting! I appreciate it very much!!!

    --Betty :)

  • Thanks! I appreciate your viewing and commenting! I hope you enjoy the recipe!

    --Betty :)

  • That looks delicious, Betty. Thank you very much. I really appreciate you taking the time to demonstrate all these recipes.

  • This looks absolutely delicious! I enjoy grilled chicken a lot because of the fact that it is healthy and fairly low in calories. This would surely make a fabulous, filling, and nutritious lunch for me to try. Thanks for sharing Betty=)

  • Thanks! I've had so many requests for sandwiches, that I've tried to make something for everyone's taste! I hope you enjoy the recipe!

    --Betty :)

  • Instead of smashing the chicken breast, wouldn't leaving it alone hold in the juices better? Could you butterfly the breast to cut down on the thickness? You could also serve the dog the raw chicken =) He might like it better.

  • Yes, I could have sliced the breast thinner. That would be fine! Maybe I will do that next time. I do plan to do Chicken Cordon Bleu sometime, which requires pounding chicken until it is very flat, so this was just a precursor to that technique. As far as feeding the dog raw chicken, I once mentioned that my dog would be getting the leftover chicken (I didn't say raw), and I got pounced on by all these people that said I would be killing my dog with Salmonella! Better to cook than argue!

  • Wow! Betty, you are the best. Im going to try this this weekend, That Looked Great.

Thank you My Friend. Talk to you later.

  • Hi Dave! I'm glad you liked the look of the grilled chicken sandwich. I get a lot of requests for sandwiches, so I just keep thinking of different sandwiches for viewers to try! I hope you like it! Thanks for your sweet comment!

    --Betty :)

  • i;m not complaining Betty i'd never do that about you sweets but has there been a day in 2009 when you've not made a video?U r just incredible! x

  • Sometimes I make 2 or 3 dishes on the same day, and then upload them one at a time on the next 2 or 3 days--and I take do other things then, but no cooking! Thanks for your compliment!

    --Betty :)

  • look's great thank's soooo much :-)

  • You're welcome! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for writing!

    --Betty :)

  • People like you make me happy, too! Thanks for your sweet comment!

    --Betty :)

  • That's a mighty fine sandwich! I love when your dog makes a cameo appearance around 8:40 in the background.

  • Thanks! The dog is unpredictable to say the least! If I put him outside while shooting a video, he starts scratching frantically at the kitchen door! I think the smell of food makes him want to be close to the kitchen! Thanks for your comment!

    --Betty :)

  • betty i think that you're amazing! i love watching your videos and i get all excited when i see you posting new ones <3

  • Thanks so much! That is so encouraging and supportive! I appreciate it!
