The nicest thing about scrubs it that it got such a long run, the story just ran it's course it never got permanently canceled until it was mostly closed up. I'm glad it ended when it did instead of milking it like season 9 pretty much was.

after season 9 , you HAVE to realize zach braff made scrubs. Him not being there sometimes it felt, well, empty. At least Dr.cox and turk were there fom the original cast.

I have all the seasons downloaded and watched every single episode. I am thinking of not starting on season 9, the last episode in season 8 seemed like it was finished and from what I have heard the last season isn't great, I would rather remember the good memories from what was a great show!

@age597 Season 9 was really bad. And they knew it, but there was nothing they could do. The actors had commitments elsewhere so they gave it a shot and it didn't work out. If you want to end on a high, don't watch 9.

I thought the entire series was brilliant except for season 7 and 9. 9 was bad for obvious reasons with the spin-off vibe, the new characters, the lack of core characters, and the overall forced feel. Season 7 was bad because the network really forced the producers (writer's strike didn't help either) and ended in a real rush job where the narrative of the overall season was not cohesive at all.
