'not really liquid' The fuck is wrong with people on music comments these days? Everyone is arguing about the genre. Fact is the core drum beat is a liquid style drum beat, sure this could fit into some sort of sub genre, but why bother? Don't discourage people just starting out by telling them to change their unique sound to fit the 'definition of the genre'. People breaking out of the normal is how new genres come around...
maybe you could more work on the bassline, it sounds very synthetic. Don't like FL very much. MASSIVE VST has many sound possibilities, try it. The drops are very cool indeed :)
For liquid, I'd recommend working on making the overall drums way more tight, they sound too flappy and all over the place to really make it sound like a liquid dnb track.
Actually a tighter snare and maybe shortening the percussion notes a bit (or speeding up the percussion samples you used) could make the overall drum mix sound more tight and punchy, and shortening the perc notes could even give it a cool gated effect, all while playing over your otherwise good melodic atmosphere.
