Thank you for this tribute : I grew up with this movie and I think the best part is when the boys say to the scary german guy : "you know a lot about monsters"... he answers : "now that you mention maybe I do"... and we see the numbers in his arm ! Man this scence worts all the movie !

The kick back of that pump action Remington would've knocked Horrace flat on his fat ass. But what kind of asshole nitpicks a movie like this for realistic content? Rudy was a ice cold badass. Even though it is basically a Goonies copycat, I still like it better, more edge.

Don't know dude, I have been looking for it as well. I think only ebay would have it. Some companies try to "erase" the odd movie from existance because they are ashamed of it, or it didn't make enough money. Like...Time Bandits, or Flight of the Navigator (that I have).

Actually I did hear that there is a soundtrack either in the works or already out. They said something about it on the dvd commentary for the movie.

Yes, there is a soundtrack available. But unfortunately, it doesn't have "Rock Until You Drop" on it, or the Monster Squad rap song from the final credits. It's just the orchestral music composed by Bruce Broughton - still good, but I wish it also had those two songs on it.
