I own 2 of these. A Burst and a Natural. They are great little guitars. The neck pickup on these things is awesome. The bridge is pretty good too but the neck pickup kicks ass!!!
i bought a black one with a humbucker as well. I bought to mod but I realized how much I love the guitar. I'm going to buy a tobacco burst model as well. My local store is blowing them out for $89.
i bought two of those peavys to mod, i ended up selling one, and i changed the bridge pickup on the other one, they are pretty great for the bucks. i paid 104$ each as my local store was blowing them away.
Great blues tones out of the Peavey. The vintage wound ceramic pickups sound really good. That neck is really glossly too. Have you played the Hohner OSC Standard? It's got Tesla 50's style alnico pickups (cloth covered) with full size pots and is set up like the Peavey (neck-strat single, middle-strat single, bridge-tele single) with Grovers and a solid ash body string through going for $145 with free ship on Ebay.

I also love the neck. Very comfy!!
