The unbeaten run was based on skill, speed, stamina, intelligent play and quite a lot of luck, actually, but the main thing really is that these players fought for their lives for EVERY ball.
Anyone notice how almost all the goals scored against Arsenal were just big punts up the field and then someone pounced on the ball. Almost always, there was no decent build up play.
I can't help but feel sorry for the next generation of Gunner's fans who missed seeing this squad playing. They were so fucking awesome! When the venerable Arsene Wenger retires, our next manager has no choice but to maintain the style of football our beloved team plays with.
