This is were season 4 sucked. All sense of realism was gone once Darren Star left. The episodes were still entertaining but every character was involved in a storyline that was too unbelievable for words. But Sydney was great in the whole "killing Richard" plot.

s1: the annoyance

s2: the villain

s3: the victim

s4: the comedic relief

s5: the romantic

a perfect way to make her so loveable...and then so mourned after her death

That list sums it up perfect actually. It makes her character seem a little inconsistent but then again people can change a lot over the course of five years. But like you said it made her loveable especially since she ended on the romantic note.

I agree, although I liked the Sydney character better during the first three season... but I have to admit there are still a lot of hilarious moment worth the vision :-D

I thought Sydney and Sam could be very happy together. Plus, the actor playing Sam was really good, I've seen him a lot on television

Lol! Move over Matt... Sydney was, in my opinion, by far the gayest charcter in the show. She was so campy, dramatic and bitchy.... and just plain fabulous generally. Great character, by far my favourite in the show. Love your work, Silverdollar85.
