@harriisnotinabox it went great but the rom was slow and laggy so I installed different roms. I rather have the a fast rom than a slow one with flash... fastest rom I have installed is SuperCSDIv4. highly recommend it.

I will be a proud owner of a g1 here soon. I was doing some research on this phone and there is an application or MOD that enables multitouch. However it dissables the screen orientation. Google is so big and has so much to offer when it comes to connecting people it was a good move to make open source android software.

Im installing the Hero ROM on my G1 and it includes flash player... the thing is u have to be aware of what u r doing and cant mess up... if u dont know what im talking about then search "Hero Rom on G1". I'm so excited to do this... wish me luck!!!

why not? lol. when you root the g1/mytouch you get a pimped out recovery image that is way better than the standard one. you can make a full system recovery. i used the recovery to make a backup before i flash any rom and when i want to go back or the rom doesn't work i just use the backup to go back..

Adobe Flash is already functional and available for the HTC hero, but Flash will be available around October for G1.

Its the HTC Hero, not the magic.

The Hero has some limited flash support. Myspace music wont work, unfortunately.

I enjoy many of your videos, but I get the impression that you believe the G1 is made by Google rather than HTC. Forgive me if I'm wrong but the video calling the HTC Magic a "rip off" + your suggestion in this video that HTC is someone Adobe just "linked up with" to develop Flash for Android seems to indicate a fundamental misunderstanding.

You seem to not have read the article very closely. It's talking about the HTC Hero and FUTURE HTC phones. It doesn't mention the Magic or the Dream (aka the G1). Lastly, Kakashinoor is correct. Flash would run like shit with the RAM limited HTC Dream (aka the G1).

That's the HTC Hero not the HTC magic. Also, Flash is only coming to the HTC Hero as of now, the G1 can't support it.

And if you followed the G1 scene and knew about rooting and flashing, the HTC Hero rom was released a few months ago with Flash support, I flashed it myself, and flash player is VERY slow on the ram deprived g1. All videos are very choppy and pretty unbearable
