Propane is 105 octane and contains 18 percent hydrogen. It burns twice as fast as gasoline & is a dry fuel, so it does not wash the oil off the cylinder walls when starting in extreme cold weather like gasoline. Since it burns so clean and hot, the exhaust systems also last much longer as all the moisture burns off quickly even on short trips. Both Canada and USA offer Federal incentives $2,000 in Canada and $2,500 in the USA, plus state or province incentives from $500 to $2,000 as well
