  • were did u buy the rb26?

  • i want to ask this is rwd? because i thought that all rb26dett was awd

  • @eltipodelsofa14 it normally is, but i modified the oil pan and deleted the front diffrential off the rb26 oil pan, and im using a skyline gts rb25det rwd transmission so its 100% rwd, but sometime in the future i would like to convert my 240 to awd but its going to be a while.

  • 488rwhp 415rwtq, but my new setup is going to make 850rwhp on race gas, and 650rwhp on pump with methonal injection. so I will have new vids up next year when we get into spring.

  • How much HP and torque?

  • Wat type of rims

  • RWTQ doesn't make sense, that's like saying rear wheel power (which can be measured in HP, PS or watts). Was it newton-meters or foot-pounds?

  • 1998

  • What year 240?

  • sick ride...gotta check out the new setup....your staying with stock internals? or rebuilding??

  • damn this is nice

  • What kind of transmission did you put on it

  • @phantomgrey you can clearly tell its a 26dett by the piping and the of the engine and my frined had a turbo'd KA and this doesnt sound anything like it

  • what are the specs of your car for body wise and engine transmission/rear end and brakes and wheel setup?

  • My friend is considering getting a 91 skyline with the RB26DETT how much power can the stock motors take before modding the internals is necessary? I know a ton about subaru's but not jack about nissans lol. He was asking me and I had no clue what to say. I have heard of them going 500whp on stock internals but I just wanted to make sure.

  • needs cams

  • Comment removed

  • I just upgraded to a precision pt6765 turbo for my new setup

  • @R33240sxRB26 what does the dyno look like with the new turbo I was running a similar twin setup. now running twin gt2862's

  • change it 2 a gt35r n u will see that result

  • @phantomgrey

i posted a link of a pic of my engine bay on you home page. i can assure you its not a KA lmao, and sounds nothing like a KA either

  • @R33240sxRB26 owned!

  • @R33240sxRB26 its impossible to put a rb26dett in a lhd huh ud have to loose one of the best parts TT

  • @phantomgrey The "red stuff" is the valve cover of a RB26.

  • @phantomgrey sounds nothing like a ka....dont you know your engines?

  • ouch my honda ego....

  • new setup is coming soon, so stay tuned to my channel

  • Nice car man, one day my kouki will have RB power. One day...............

  • @kevinbarrio dude u need more research on that

  • hope you understand that this is swapped and not a ka or sr. or ca.

  • Yes, I realized it have a Rb26Dett. I'm only response the comentaries (sory 4 my bad english haha)

  • oh ok. i thought you were saying that one had like an sr 20 haha. no worries about your english:)

  • My jaw just dropped. beautiful car man, great job.

  • this thing would fuckin fly with that power on that twin turbo setup

  • i dont know about the 200sx but i know the silvia of 180sx came with the sr20det or sr20de. yea all the ka24de and ka24e came with the 240sx.

  • i dont know but sometime i've been seaching usually 200sx came with the year of 95 to 98. i know some car that are 200sx but idk sometime it 240sx is 200sx that are 95 98.

  • Sorry tommy, I see you've already been corrected several times, my bad. I should've read the other comments first lol.

  • @tommyaj200 wrong, 240sx are americans version of the 200/180sx. only the 240 sx is left hand drive. This is clearly a left hand drive, so there for it is a 240sx.

  • @mushypeanut in Japan they called 180sx. 240sx are American. i dont know how or what they called 200sx cause people says model of 95-98 are 200sx but other says its not.

  • @tommyaj200 in Great Britain the silvia is called the 200sx. The 200sx is a two door sport version of the sentra

  • @SuperAnimekid what ok so who made the body first? i thought japan develope made it first.

  • @tommyaj200 In Japan there is the Silvia and the hatchback 180sx. When the Silvia and 180 went to Europe the Silvia got renamed the 200sx. America took the design of the hatchback 180 and renamed it the 240sx. In 1994 America finally got the S14 Silvia body style but kept the 240sx name.

  • @SuperAnimekid 1994 is not an s14. thatsa s13 dohc which came with the convertible automatic transmission. 1995 yes its now the s14 till 1998. so i guess American stop making 240sx since.

  • @tommyaj200 Yeah 95 is wat I meant sorry I was typing on my phone and yeah the Kouki S14 body style in 98 was the last style America got.

  • sick car. i should get one soon but they are pretty expensive even bone stock! lol

search up ( Gardena 240sx )its a pretty sick kouki with massive power!

  • i got my kouki about a month ago. i love it so much. $7,500 and only has 50,700 miles on it

  • what rear end are you using.

  • I agree, 3 years ago it took me 6 months to find this kouki wiche had 82k miles on it andit was bones stock with an automatice for $6500. I drove it with the stock engine till 90k miles and did the swap and i have been working on it ever since with upgrades.

  • how much was the swap?

  • i lost count lol

  • lol you just prefer not to remember:)

  • Damn I love your car. Looking to do the same conversion someday. Is it relatively straight forward and worth while doing? Respect. Matt

  • my car is a 1998 wich has the kouki front end from the factory but they only made about 8,000 of em in the u.s. in 98, all im doing is the jdm kouki aero front bumper, rear bumper, rear valances, usdm kouki sideskirts and jdm kouki grill.

i already have the jdm front bumper and grill on already and i have all the other parts im just waiting on money to do the body and paint.

  • nice car

  • everyone has there own opinions, but i love my car and not to mention its alot lighter then a skyline so i have the adavantage over a skyline there but im not awd (wich sux). but dont get me wrong if i could afford a real r33 skyline gtr i would but i since i cant i built the next best thing. for a fraction of the cost of a stock gtr.

  • well yea, i totally agree. i love all 240's, but im just so attached to s13's. if i ever get a skyline, the first thing im doing to it is disabling the FWD. drift that badass car.

the only reason i like s13's over 14's is because of how the back glass is rounded, if it was flat, oh man, probably my favorite car. it's like the 91 tegs, nice body, but back glass looks like shit

  • you know on the r32 gtr's you can pull a relay out and it will make it 100%rwd. cause my buddy from st. louis drifts his r32 gtr all the time and all he has to do is pull a relay and its good to go.

  • yes, that is called disabling the FWD. those cars are awesome to drift

  • ummm how wud that work? im sure ud have to take the transfer case off. cos jst pulling that fuse/wire/relay watever ppl are calling it wont distatch the front shaft. isnt all the fuse/wire/relay jst disarming the the torque split. if so its still not 100% rwd

  • no you dont have to take off the front shaft or transfer case on the r32 or r33 skyline gtr's. when you remove the fuse it pretty much disengages the transfer case and makes it 100%rwd but when the fuse is in its about 60% rear and 40% front. how do you think skyline gtr drift in drift competions??majic? google it if you dont believe me.

  • i thought they were stock thats why..lol..my bad

  • its ok just make sure you read the info on the vid before you make assumptions next time lol.

  • You wish ur tiny t2s could push that much... I have the same setup and its 300hp roughly...nice try... this guy is lying. Shame on u!!

  • wow then you wasted your money then on the hksgt2530 turbos cause i made 340whp on the stock turbos on a dyno dynamics wich reads 20%lower then dynojet. maybe you should google the hks gt2530 turbos then and educate yourself. if you look at my other dyno vids you will notice a big difference between my stock turbos and the hks turbo pulls.

  • what year lol is it a 97 or 98

  • 98' SE

  • are those volk wheels? looks real nice. That must've been so much work but so worth it. really nice.

  • there Rays Nismo LMGT4 wheels

  • on nice ya i noticed some writing on there so i guessed the te37 volk.s . nice wheels.

  • yeah nice rims i got rays te37 on my zenki!!

  • that car is badass!!!

are those the te30 volk rays

  • looks like Nismo

    drooool

  • Love this car

  • sounds nice.

    ;]

  • was it an exact fit? or did u have to mod the engine bay and trannie

  • i had to modify the transmission tunnel, custom engine and transmission mounts, modified oil pan, custom down pipe, and custom wiring harness. alot of work it took my four months to get all the parts and do the swap

  • no i had to use an rb25det rwd trans and i had to use custom motor mounts and bang the trans tunnel a little bit so the starter housing on the transmission didnt hit the tunnel

  • how much was the 26 conversion all up? im tossin up whether to put one in my s13 or just go get a gtr

  • well it cost around $10k for a stock rb26 swap and it goes up from there.

  • are u using the stock differential?

  • no im using a Z32 n/a diff with j30 axles

  • nice rims..what is it?

  • there the rays engineering nismo lmgt4 wheels

  • im thinking about getting a set of those for my zenki. would u recommend? oh and how much weight did they save?

  • Hella nice.Good job.

Which is the gearbox are u using ??Of the rb26dett or gtt? 350z maybe?

    Cheers

  • im using the rb25det 5 speed transmission

  • How much did it cost for you to get that much power out of a rb26dett plus the engine swap?

  • well i got a hell of a deal on my r33 rb26 for $2700 my tomei 600cc injectors $800, apexi power fc d-jetro $1150, power enterprise timing belt $125, stock idler & tensioner $150, Mckinney motor mount kit with driveshaft $1100, all my aem gauges $900, spec stage 3+ clutch $450, R33 Rb25det 5 speed transmission $1200, splitfire coils $450, apexi intakes $380, Hks Gt2530 turbos $2000, and a whole bunch of other nickle and dime shit and also all my auto to manual swap stuff too.

  • Would you get close to the same results if you went with the 25 over the 26 is it that big of a difference?

  • have you had any problems with not upgrading the crank collar piece? and Oil pump?

  • the r33 rb26 didnt have the crank collar issue, it was fixed, i checked mine anyways just to make sure and i had a good crank collar. the r32 rb26 had the most issues with the crank collar.

  • Damn, i didnt even pay attention to the yr. Anything you do recommend doing? I'm about to sell my SR swap to go RB

  • so the rb25dett(r33) is RWD?

  • its an rb25det.. only a single turbo and yes it is rear wheel drive.. actually the rb25 should be arriving at my buddies house 2day lol.. cant fit the rb26 into an s13 as easily.. great vid love the car 2 man

  • Happy birthday Hans. :)

    Car sounds goood!!

  • apexi power fc d-jetro, tomei 600cc injectors, nismo fpr, walboro 255 fuel pump w/relay wire upgrade, tomei intake and exhaust gaskets, spearco fmic, greddy timing belt, spec stage 3+ clutch, apexi super suction intake, gizzmo launch interface, aem boost/controller gauge, hks gt250 twins@ 22psi, hks dump tubes, apexi gt spec exhaust, 300zx n/a diff, stock motor. thats pretty much it. on a dyno jet i put down about 470rwhp and 350rwtq

  • wow nice how long has this been ur project car ?

  • since 2006

  • hey whta are the upgrades on it top 2 bottom if u dont mind :p nice car and numbers 5 starrs :)
