makes me question the location of the flag points, or the competency of the officials. As i can see a yellow flag out well before the second car makes contact, I'd say that the flag point is ineffective where it is currently. perhaps put it on the drivers left at the top of the crest so that the cars can see it from a long range, and the flag point can see a long way down the track... just my thoughts :)

Yeah agreed at a much faster speed but it most likely not happen because the visibility at an oval track would be much greater 1/2 mile+ compared to a road course coming over a blind hill with less than 100 yards reaction time going over 100 mph +

wait who said slick tires aren't better than normal tires. well i know you know but slick tires provide a larger contact patch with the pavement. go look at the tires on your street car, those are all weather and because of the treading, only about 50% of the potential rubber is touching the road. while driving on wet roads, the treading is perferred because it separates and spreads the water to the sides of the tire so the contact patch can always be in contact with the road
