In conclusion it is the statement that comes with most Eng Dubbed anime shows. The Eng VAs put no soul or inflection into there voices and the characters sound like robots, and not very good robots at that. Eva was about the only one with FEELING in her voice, others marked good or so did fine enough, but need work. I wonder if they will come back for !?, if so fire Kazumi... Just plain horrible =/

The only voices that I have no problems with are the adults, Takamichi, the dean, etc.

Some of them are just terribly done though. Prime examples are Negi (obviously) and (unfortunately) Setsuna.

It's probably safe to say there's no major spoilers. This season of Negima! only had 25 episodes and they mainly covered Volumes 1-6. They took a few concepts and ideas from Volumes 7-10, but none are directly related to the manga's storyline. ;)

I don't know. The upside to having voice actors/actresses that can sound younger than they really are is that they can be reusable in case of future seasons. If a real 10-year-old tried to do Negi, viewers would be able to hear the voice change over the two to three years it takes them to dub the series.

Oh, FYI, that Setsuna quote wasn't a blooper. She really did say that to Negi in the Kyoto arc (Episode 20: "Unless you believe, you will not understand") when she mistook him for an enemy. Poor Negi, being violated like that! LOL!

Kinda hate to admit this, but IMO Ku Fei might've matched better with Wendee Lee, the English voice of Kaolla Su of Love Hina. I find it hard to imagine Cynthia Cranz's voice in the manga without at least some type of accent.

kaede, kazumi, and albert chamomile definitely stood out as being right on. they NEED a new konoka- she's too annoying (too much like usagi from sailor moon) and because she's such an integral part of the story she needs a pleasant sounding VA. nodoka is also very good. chisame's great- has that nice sarcastic tone with the ability to become sweet. evangeline and chachamaru are also good.. and hagase is nerdy to the extreme. these are pretty good, but my favorite is probably chamo-kun.
