@ileanaramirez1990 you are right! Oyama Anza is half Japanese and half South African.

I loved this and all the other musicals... you can definitely see they were still figuring things out for this one. Odd costume choices, that gigantic scepter, and the portrayals of Luna and Artemis are something I'm glad they soon left behind.

Personally I think it doesn't matter who played Sailor Moon better, Between Anza and Marina each one of them had they're own way of portraying Sailor Moon. Which proved them both to be equally talented! However I will say one thing in favor of Anza to disrespects for Marina of course, but Anza's voice when she sings reins supreme over all the other Sailor Moons!!

Gawd, you guys are so judgmental! Don't you get it? During the first few performances the actresses and actors aren't going to look in their tip-top shape, geez. I personally like Marina AND Anza, at least I don't judge Anza based on what she was supposed to wear. TheYoungEmpress is right, be mature. It's not about who's better and who isn't, it's about how they carry out the character of Usagi/Sailor Moon, they ALL have their flaws and whatnot.

You idiot, Usagi WAS extremely hyper, Marina was perfect in every way for Usagi. Now after see her very last performances after she retired from Sailor Moon, she got a bit prettier, but they still need to fix that wig, it just doesn't look right. Marina's wig is good though. anyway, instead of putting Marina down simply because I pointed out true flaws about Anza, you could be mature and just ignore me, I don't care if you like Anza, thats your choice, know that and try to be mature.

Yes, Anza is beautiful without wig. This is the first musical of course costume and their outfit not really good. Marina's musical started after 2000 of course their costume & outfit is better than 1993.
