@jaybird113 of cource universal studios is open, and a lot more attractions have been added, including a new theme park. Al though the ghost busters attraction is long gone.

and replaced it w/ twister.. ive been to that ride last year and it wasn't even that good!the only part of the twister ride i was freaked out is when theres like this roof over our heads and they made this loud noise and thought that the roof was gonna collapse on us. so ok, i admit its ok, but it doesn't have that excitement or makes have like the chills or something. so... ghostbusters spooktacular is still #1!

I saw a ghostbusters show when i was little. I remember there was a slime tank above my seat and it went off during the show and i got completely slimed. The only one out of the whole theater!! I got to go backstage afterward, it was the coolest!! lol

Where was this show located at within the park? The current Terminator show area? I'm sure I saw it as a child, but don't really have any recollection of it. I do remember seeing the Ghostbusters/Beetlejuice battle in the streets of New York, but not this show... I miss having the Ghostbusters in the park =(

Nice enough job on the camera work, but I can see now why some people thought this show was a bit cheesy (and yes it is lip-synced except for the opening lines.)

I should know; I was a part of this show when I worked at Universal from 11/90-3/93, playing both Spengler (but not in this clip) and in the later version, Walter Peck the EPA guy.

I can make out the identities of three of the five cast members (who shall remain nameless) and it sure was nice to revisit them, in a manner of speaking.

Sorry, Roboprop, couldn't tell ya who provided the proton packs - I just don't know - but yes, they were built for the show, complete with blinking lights as if they were the real deal, "movie" or "real" life, whichever one prefers.

No problem - i just loved that ride :) i only went to universal for the first time a couple of months ago and i thought it was the best ride bar none...i wish i had been on this one though i LOVE ghostbusters...and back to the future which they also closed :( but still he best theme park in my opinion

I can't really recognize the background music that was being played when the hostess was talking to the audience in the beginning. My three favorite parts in this video were when the Ghostbusters all showed up and blasted away all those ghosts, when the Ghostbusters defeated Gozer in the form of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and also the finale where everyone sang along to the song known as, "GHOSTBUSTERS"!
