@hfl2005, my family's fortunes have risen DRAMATICALLY since Obama was elected. On November 4th, 2008, the recession had cost us (hubby & me) both our incomes. 10 months with NO work. Now, we're both employed & the family is pulling down more money than ever before in our lives, and we have the stimulus spending to thank.

To cut the deficit we should dump our wars, raise taxes on the rich, stop jailing the non-violent, ditch the war on drugs and bring on more stimulus to increase the tax base.

I disagree with bringing more stimulus, which inevitably ends helping the more corrupt and connected of the corporations, and de-incentivizes good business practices and common sense.
