I found the hardest part of that the flaming logs and fire people, once you get used to the patterns of that you can do the boss a shitload easier

I can beat the original Splatterhouse the arcade version without getting hit once.

It took allot of practice though.

Atleast I used to be able to, now I can't even finish the 5th boss. Haven't played it in atleast a year.

Am I wrong if I say that the Arcade version is muuch harder than the TurboGraphx version? I´ve downloaded TGX emulator, can´t remember when, and played this through in one sitting, while at the arcade version, I´ve never been in Hell Chaos :S

I don't think the womb or Captain Mozzarella were really hard, just as long as you know where to be, you can fly through this game. Even the Womb has a pattern if you watch closely enough.

@hackensac its unlockable in the remake if you finish level 2 of story. It can also be unlocked right away if your game came with a PIN code that, when activated, unlocks them for you.

I have this game on my TG-16. I also have SH 2 & 3 on my SEGA. This one is better than SH 2 (in my opinion) but not near as good as SH 3. I hope the new SH game on the Xbox 360 has the arcade version of this game as an unlockable.

I hate the turbografx version of this game. The original arcade version is 10x better.

To be honest I think the arcade one is the turbo grafix wasn't really that hard, but then again you should experience it yourself, but once you get the patteren down any boss can be easy.

arcade version is always better, actually I made this video awhile ago, I just had to upload it again since I was suspended from my old account, I am much better at this game now
