This game is pretty damn fun. I imported a japanese wii copy, and dont regret it.

Only thing is that it's too easy to get good at. On the upside, that means most of the game is trying to outsmart the opponent, not outskill them.

It is in arcades, in Japan. But I'm pretty sure we're not gonna see a stateside release of this. If I remember right, Tatsunoko owns all the Japanese distribution rights, but they sold US distribution rights to a bunch of other companies.

But MvC2 is getting released for download on 360 and PS3, so I guess that's a win. Even though that game's balance was awful. Fucking Magneto. A fun game, but only if you're not playing against some ass who plays the toptiers.

Depends on how the licencing goes. Capcom lost the marvel licence shortly after MvC2, which is why the series died, and there's so few copies of it. I think EA took it.

But I think EA lost the licence recently, so if Capcom gets it back, we could see it happen.

Tatsunoko VS Capcom has it's first and only US arcade location: 8 on the Break, Dunellen New Jersey, and Capcom has stated they are trying to get liscensing issues worked out for a US release.

A few GREAT characters would also be Sparda (super secret character), Dante (they're on crack if he's not gonna be in it), Sieg Warheit (Chaos Legion, just imagine his special attack. Lv. 3 perfect thanatos tech.), Akuma (he's THE shit), That guy Ryu from Breath of Fire 4 I think (or the white haired boss guy, I remember that he looks very cool), Leon from Resident Evil, and for kicks maybe a character from Power Stone (that guy that looked like goku when he's charged. Ah well, only with time.

Man I would so buy this fuckin game if was to ever hit state side for the ps3. Back in the day me and couple of my friends played marvel vs capcom 2 like EVERY weekend on the dreamcast and then I jus had to buy it again for the ps2. Capcom DEFINITELY needs to get the rights for marvel back from EA or whoever and make MvC3,4,5,6,etc. Capcom vs Sammy (Guilty Gear) would be good also. I also would LOVE to play a Capcom vs Square enix. Dante vs Sephiroth or an Onimusha vs Auron etc. *drools*
