I remember that storm. That was crazy. The power went out during the storm and shook the house hard.
The reason why most of the tree's got ripped out of the ground so easily was because of the soil, it was really soft and the roots didn't go that deep. Tree planters planted them like that on purpose, but they of course didn't think a small town would get hit with wild winds like that.

i remeber this! a tree fell on my freinds house! my locked double door went flying open O-O
it was flippen scary!
after the trees in the memorial park fell there was hardly any shad! >:O

i live there i remember that it was fun to go out side 1 of my trees fell down in the front yard.

I remember delivering papers in that...God it was a mess :P I personally think though a lot of trees got cut down after this that shouldn't have.
