@hitmansucker NP, you just go to system settings, memory, press y button, then press this code X X LB RB X X. then a menu should pop up, if not press the button what says "clear system cache". press yes and u deleted the updates.... to play in splitscreen: when u got the question to update the game, press no and u'll be fine.
