it doesn't look like Richey is actually playing that guitar to be truthful. i play guitar and that just doesn't look right to me. Im sure Richey had other influences on the band through his lyrics and art though. Iv always thought JDB is the heart and soul of the Manics nevermind all the hype about Richey.

@OToMb Richey is playing the right chords to this, just a deeper octave to James. The line up reminds me of The Clash, three frontmen with bags of attitude. Whether Richey's playing had any real effect doesnt matter, he was the lyricist and along with the other two, gave the band the image that made them unique (er, apart from the clash of course)

This is still my favorite song love all this older msp footage Richey,s so beautiful the manics are the best. I saw them last year i think they always open their shows with this song they really are the best live band out there.

Richey never actually "played" truly. A lot of the time, the rhythm parts were pre recorded by JDB and aired as live despite Richey never being amped up
