  • i put a bunch of apple seeds in soil a week go and now have one seedling at 1 inch high, i'm so happy :D

  • We are in "Zone 10" (Clay in California) and I do not believe the lemon trees will work as well there as they do here. Some suggestions that I have read about that may work very well for you are "Giant Oregon Garlic" or any fresh large garlic from the local market, raspberries, broccoli, and potatoes. If you can get these going I am sure anyone would love to trade for a lemon!

    not true. i live in northern Califronia. my sister has a lemon tree in her back yard. hard clay, yes. just mix in proper soil and your good to go.

  • where do you live? im asking cause i live in edmonton canada, and i was just wondering if climate would effect the growth of lemon trees.

    i just had a 5 lemon seeds sprout, and ive plante them in some soil.

    (i have to add that, when i was waiting for the seeds to sprout, i kept them in a plastic container, with the seeds wrapped in some wet paper towel, which also kept it semi humid inside the container)

    so, im wondering if maybe i should but a plastic bag over the pot i planted them in, or..
