Sounds robotic because radio is the 512k memory firmware if u upgrade firmware to the 1mb firmware it will sound more natural

Google the website Batlabs its got all the motorola info an software you need oh an since everyones going digital apco25 motorola astro saber III will decode with latest firnware 512k works for 3600baud trunking 1mb works best for 9600baud trunking
