  • Follin for teh WIN! :D

  • Never heard of this game before and stumbled upon it on pure chance but the music is indeed good.

  • I'm guessing that Gauntlet 3 is not a real game, as there is NO gameplay footage of it anywhere on youtube.

  • @JoeyJoeJoe5000 It kind of exist. From what I hear it was half finished but never completed. I have a rom of it but haven't had much time to mess with it at all. Also rumor has it that a few copies are out and about somewhere.

  • @JoeyJoeJoe5000

It was a real game, it was coded, all art was done, start to finish, there are many rumours as to why it did not come out on the 64 (Spectrum, Amstrad, ST and Amiga came out), but I would leave that up to Martin Howarth to explain :)

  • It's all about the strings...

  • Why doesn't anyone post a play thru of this game

    |||||||

    o..o .|. W

Play it, Beat it and then show me its bones. This game shall not destroy us we shall conquer it. :D

  • @TearyEyesAnderson Because all you need to know of this game is this song!

  • This's nothing short of beautiful.

  • If I was ever involved in an epic battle, this would be my theme song. this song is badass.

  • lol, cpc screen for a c64 game music?! ;)

  • ABSOLUTELY fantastic.

  • Never played this game....I wasn't born when it was out, but wow this song is just great!

    Apregios and everything w00t!@#@!#@

  • These two guys could make any sound chip grovel...

  • Wow, amesome!

Until 0:05, you wouldn't notice that this is on the C64, that "bleep" really sounds life-like o_O

  • Follin got strings out of the SID.... STRINGS!

  • Best Halloween Sound Ever

  • Very rare video and rarer game! Thanks!

  • Nice GFX converted from Amstrad CPC ?

    Doh ! :D

Why do my ears are bleeding ? LOL

  • @dlfrsilver

Definitely the amstrad cpc loading screen, I should know, I drew it :o)

  • @SockShock: Sorry about that. I thought this was the C64 screen; I had never played either of the versions myself, I just loved C64 version's music. =)

  • @PeyserCommodore

That's quite all right, I seem to remember the 64 version used my loading screen as well, don't think Martin had time to do one for it.

  • @SockShock : hey incredible :D you drew it on an amstrad CPC or an atari ST then converted to CPC screen format mode 0 ?

  • @dlfrsilver

Drew it on an amstrad, all us artists used the cpc6128 to do our art back then (Unless you were developing a game for the 64,amiga/st), I forget the art package (it was an awful long time ago)....I do remember, however, I did all my art back then using a bloody joystick!...whatever it was, I only used it while I was working on speccy, amstrad and nes games, when we moved onto SNES,MD and the like, we all went to d-paint on the pc.

  • @SockShock

All us artists at Software Creations that is!....dunno what they were using down the road, needless to say, they had more cash than we did, so Amstrads it was for us!

  • pure sweeping arpeggios...

    Fantastic!

  • I used this in one of my videos, because it reeks of badass-ness - I miss gauntlet....

  • Immense tune, came out near the end of the C64's life so not as well known as some of the other stuff
