I've had two maine coon cats. My first Mouse I only had 5 years. A co-workers wife gave her to me at age 8. I had her 5 years at age 13 she died of a stroke in my arms. 7 months later. Still grieving her loss. I still missed her so much I had to get a new one. I found a good breeder & bought my second pure bred maine coon as a kitten for $500. I named him Zeus, I can whistle & he'll answer me & come running.

Really nice cats, actually we are thinking of getting a Maine Coon (Landlord really likes them) but I am slightly worried that it may harm my dog as she lets cats get away with murder with her. We used to have three cats but one died recently and it was really heart breaking, Lilly misses him a lot despite half the time the cat would scratch her nose or belt her ears. Lilly can be seen in my own video
