After reading so many comments of daughters losing their fathers to death divorce or everything else is sad but knowing they still love their dad helped. my dad heard before if im correct before I was born and he got that on a tape and he played it for me wen I was three I cried he is still in my life and he doesnt say I love you to me but its,this song that says It all.... OKAY SUZANNE ELIZABETH STONE MAY 9 but I do not remember the year she was born. She is really a nice person, :-) She spoke to me tonight in a picture of my daughter. Suzanne is my stepdaughter from my second marriage. Although me and Kenny are now divorced, Stephanie and Suzanne will always be my stepdaughters. That's all I know.

My father left me my sister and brother 4 years ago. I am 16. I was 12 when I last spoke to him. I cried every night for a long time. I was his first born, he dedicated this song to me. He used to sing it to me. I still love my father, and I listen to this song every day to remind myself that he cared at some point.

RIP Daddy. You were here when I got married and had my first baby boy. After 21 years, I'm still married and wish you could have been here to see my second baby boy that I had almost 9 years ago. You would be thrilled with all of your grandkids and soon great grandkids. Love you daddy and miss you and momma so much. I will see you both in Heaven someday. My dad & I had a rocky relationship but I loved him so very much. We danced to this song at my wedding in 2003. My father passed away from lung cancer in 2008 and I had this song played at his funeral for him & me. Very touching song and I can't help but think of my dad when I hear this song. I love you Dad!! I never met my father...he left before I was born and never bothered to meet me,but I don't hold a grudge against him.I know the power of forgiveness and understanding.I had my grandfather though.He's 83 and healthier than ever.When I listened to this,I can't stop tearing a little.He's been my father and it has filled that little spot in my heart.God bless him for showing Jesus Christ through his love.

this is my song. my dad was gone most of my life because he is in the military and when i was born he dedicated this song to me they played it in his jeep over in the golf war when he got the news i was born. ever since then it has been mine and his song every time he is gone i play it or when i miss him i play it. my mom put it on in the car on the way to my graduation this year and my dad broke down in tears. i love this song so much.

My dad goes to the middle east a lot for work. This was our special song and everytime before he would leave for a tour, i would sit on his lap in the car and listen to this with him..... then my parents divorced and he got remarried. They had the son he always wanted with her. My dads in the middle east again, so i asked him if he remembered our song.... he forgot it
