Great video(s) but in your hard mode video you mention that the heart must be killed in 30 seconds in order to activate the hard mode.

However you don't mention the heart in this video. During which phase (1 or 2) does the heart become exposed? What target options are there? Does your target on XT become switched to targeting the heart or are both still targetable? What must (or must not) be done regarding the heart?

Must the heart be killed too or can it be ignored?

It cant hurt to symbol the OT though. lots of people dont know the fights or where the adds come from and where the OT should position themselves for the easiest way to pick them up. Enhance Shammy tip:

When he does the ground-pound attack this is a perfect time to pop shammy rage,it reduces the damage you take so it will help out the healers during this, and the ground-pound attack CD is the same as your shammy rage so you can pop this every time he does ground-pound!

Why isn't he mentioning attacking the heart in this video? If you deal a significant amount of damage to the heart while the boss is "resting" when it recovers from phase 2 it will take a significant amount of damage from its damaged Heart Allowing you to kill the boss quicker. 2 People, the OT and a DPS can handle the adds themselves cuz there 2 easy.

I tanked this for the first time yesterday, (i was on boss since i was a prot war, had a prot pally for the aoe ads) and I ended up getting like, 2 light bombs and a gravity bomb on me... wtf was i supposed to do? none of the raid seemed to say anything, and none of them were moving away from me, was I supposed to move away or tank through it? then when i died from the mix of tantrum and a light bomb, they got annoyed with me... help pl0x?

the curved bars are called DHUD, the left two bars show your health (left) and ur other bar (rage, RP, mana etc) on the right. The bars you see on the right, you see your enemies health and mana. Excellent addon.

this boss is piece of cake.. i remember i wiped with my guild countless times on this boss and then i rolled with another toon on another raiding guild and we 1 shoted them... so conclusion if u dont have proper people u will stay forever at a boss in a raid without killing him.

1 thing wrong with this guide. no1 is atking the heart when its exposed. u get a 100% dmg increase from atking the heart. that way XT will go down alot faster.

There's a glitch my guild has found with this fight. If the boss is tanked either to the far left of the room or the far right of the room, between the 2 garbage piles, no adds will spawn from those piles. This means you only have to worry about adds appearing from the 2 furthest garbage piles.

As a different strategy what my raid does is this. We have all of our dps focusing on the heart. We stop damaging it at 10k health so that when XT-002 stands back up he will almost instantly go back into heart mode. Makes this boss a joke.

Its much easier, for 10 and 25, to tank him on the left or right in between the garbage piles, if you do so, the adds only come from the piles that are on the opposite side of the room, making it much easier to kill them before they reach the boss

that is what our guild does for 10 man. It makes it MUCH easier for the adds since they have a much larger distance to travel. It also allows more dps onto the heart for a longer time.

that place is only making it is only making him harder to tank him. you need to move him in between to off the scrap piles to right or left of the stairs. that way you only have to worry about scrap bots coming from the far side of the room.

Fascinating. The way my guild does it, is the main tank (Me, warrior), tanks the boss in one place the whole time. I just keep aggro and stay alive. For add phase, we put melee dps on the heart to burn it down some, and ranged takes care of the adds. The off-tank picks up the big adds, and just tanks em all for the rest of the fight. We don't kill them, as they hit like pussies. Quite a fun fight IMO :) I love doing 2k + dps on a boss...so fun.

Also his tantrum has been nerf from 120% of your hp for 12 sec to 80% of your hp for 8sec.

just a little heads up tankspot , you can dps the heart during the 2nd phase when it pops out to do extra damage to the boss and get him closer to the next 25% , next time the heart comes out they is no threat of starting hardmode because it goes back to 100%. makes it a much quicker fight but also. people have to be ready to run to there corners asap

Heya, My guild and I just got done wiping in here on this guy. At 75 percent, EXTRA adds that are not in the video came out, their names were Parts Recovery Technician. Are these to be killed before engagingthe boss? or are we doing something wrong that pulls them? These are the adds that are targetable before the encounter activates.
