  • I agree that the score is terrific. I remember when the film was first released and the reviewer of the LA TImes "tipped his hat" to Mendoza-Nava. The "bacchanal" scene features a beautiful pentatonic, Native American cue. Wish the soundtrack was available.

  • seems the only worthy thing is the soundtrack...hollywood never respects history...

  • One that MST3K missed, they could have had some fun riffing this one.

  • Oh hollywood.... haha:P

  • Pretty cheesey!! ;)

  • cool soundtrack..any knows dvd rips? :D

  • I didn't know Vikings wore pencil mustaches.

  • where's the rest? I want the rest of it please!!

  • LMFAO 4:03 with lee majors and that gay velvet eye patch turning around is tff

  • Even in 3-D this would blow buffalo balls...even Odin himself disavows all knowledge of this one...he blames Loki...

  • They had toupees back then? Must have been bearskin...I doubt the budget for this flick even came close to six million dollars...six bucks maybe...Lee Majors as Leif Scrottumsen

  • Very bad B grade movie with atrocious acting. Cornel Wilde was supposedly a good actor-but didn't show much evidence of it here. And Jack Elam -a mystical wizard? I Don't Think So!!

But -I loved this movie. I loved the action-no PC nonsense here. I loved the music and the mystery of being in a new and unknown land. And Oh yes- Susan Coelho -babe alert.

  • yuck... Steve Austin joins the Vikings... pffft

  • This is a highly underrated movie. Great music, good story and the Vikings are Pagan!

  • @DarkWolfen Your right, I also enjoyed this movie. Tell me the part where Olof drowns the two indians in the river holding them upside down by their ankles wasn't a great scene.

  • @jlmrusa Yeah it was and him standing behind to guard their retreat to the ships. A lone viking fighting against an unknown number. People can say the Vikings were vengeful and menacing, but they can't say they weren't brave.
