  • I'LIKE YOUR SHOW IN SAINT ANTOINE NB YOU DIT A GOD SOW COMME BACK SOON FROM JOANNE AND CAROLE, THAK GOD CARE

  • ;( I miss my girl I haven't heard from her all day

  • His was first but tracy bought the rights to it so it got pulled

  • He should really try to make a come back/

  • Ken cut it first. It was released as a single for Ken and with in two months Tracy re-released it :/ Ken did it the best...

  • @thepatchguy4949 You can also read my reply to jmac945

  • i like tracys version better but ken shows the pain and emotion way better

  • KEN's came out first. Tracy just had the $ of a major to help promote it.

  • From Wikipedia: "Paint Me a Birmingham" is a song written by Buck Moore and Gary Duffy. It was concurrently released by American country music artists Ken Mellons and Tracy Lawrence, whose versions entered the country charts within one week of each other

  • I like Ken Mellons, and he sings this pretty well, but Tracy Lawrence's version is better. Sorry, just my opinion.

  • WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?????????????? BRING IT BACK...... LOVE YOUR MUSIC. IT IS REAL COUNTRY

  • Now that's what I'm Talking about! This dude can sing. Hell yeah. Thanks for posting

  • this is the REAL VERSION, TRACY L cut it but ken had it first.

  • @buckywaters You're fulla shit, fuckyface

  • Ken Had it out first, Tracy Can only wish he could sing this well.

  • BLOWS TRACYS AWAY

  • I've only ever heard Tracy's version. This version, however, gives me goosebumps. Love it!

  • This version is much better than Tracy's Paint Me a Birmingham. It chilling and much stronger voice projection.

  • Tracy doesn't have the same power in his voice

  • @steelblade10 Your right he has MORE

  • by far the superior version...man this gives ya chills don't it?

  • Awesome Song It really is..... But I miss his mullet

  • is his the orginal, or a remake?

  • @barbidoll0 I can't remeber who did this first, Ken Mellons or Tracy Lawrence. Both are good though, in my opinion.

  • @uncletomthall It was Ken first. Our country station played it for months before Tracy even recorded it.

  • @uncletomthall Kenny sings it with much more feeling.

  • @uncletomthall radio station in leesville, la. was playing this long before tracy lawrence recorded it. i prefer ken's version.

  • @uncletomthall They did them both at the same time. Tracy Lawrence did the far more popular version.

  • @uncletomthall Ken had this recorded at sent to radio stations long before it was given to Tracy.

  • @ottomayshun You are wrong. Tracy recorded the song while he was still with Warner Brothers. Dreamworks bought the album from Warner Bros and that is why it was delayed with it's release.

  • @mccaryentertainment. Believe that if ya want man. I was playing the Ken Mellons version a full year before the Tracy version. Tracy was in rehab for his nose candy while I was playing the Ken version. But whatever.

  • @ottomayshun Read my reply to jmac945 you dumb sack of shit

  • @uncletomthall Ken and Tracy released their versions at the same time

  • @barbidoll0 ...ken

  • @barbidoll0 Ken wrote it and Tracy Lawrence recorded it. This is apparently Ken's version that he recorded.

  • @jmac945 I love how stupid you are.

"Paint Me a Birmingham" is a song written by Buck Moore and Gary Duffy. It was concurrently released by American country music artists Ken Mellons and Tracy Lawrence, whose versions entered the country charts within one week of each other.

    Grow a fucking brain.

  • @Surathan what is your source? wikipedia? they never get anything wrong lol. believe whatever you want. i worked country radio at the time and had the Mellons single in my hands months and months before we heard Tracy was thinking of doing the version. Have a great day!

  • @ottomayshun Yes, and I could have sworn I heard "Feel Good Inc" long before it hit the radio

But I was wrong, and you are too.

  • @Surathan If you say so, fine man. I remember my conversation with the Dreamworks rep quite well about already having Ken Mellons on the air when he mentioned a "new" single in the mail from Lawrence. But again, I must be wrong because I only lived it and didn't take my info from the web. Have a great day!
