Years ago I used too have a ferret called Bane he used too go out on day trips with me and my staffs and walk on a lead. If the dogs were too quick for him he would do this crying sound and they would slow down for him, great dogs and a great ferret.

We have 4 ferrets and we let them play with the dogs to get used to each other ready for ferreting and we put down some milk to get them both together and the ferret ended up biting the one of the dogs noses... so funny seeing something so small scare the hell out of something 100 times its size.

I miss my pets! Had 3 ferrets and 2 cats but had to give htem up when i joined the miitary a couple yrs ago. I used to love sitting on my couch with a beer when i'd see some poor ferret bookin it full speed across the room only to be intercepted and pummeled by one of my cats. My one cat loved the weasels so much she used to climb into their cage and sleep in their hammock with them and climb into the tub and swim when i'd give the ferts a bath

ferrets are probably weaker then cats but can kill a cat as they are much smarter then cats

Probly depends on both the cat and the ferret. There are some evil pussy cats out there, that can see off big dogs. They make quite good mates if you bring them up together though.
