@CharlesBarry Hi Charles, Were you like me, and just digging on Youutube and found this? Shame neither of these girls made it as solo artistes, especially here in the UK.

Shirley Alson had a distinctive voice, but I don't think Lala has.

Like you I loved the sixties girlie groups, but so many had one or two hits and then faded away.

I think the best one who made is solo was Darlene Love, who can still belt it out today, and is a respected singer in the business... Mike
