Im making this fucking build. Pure Archer using dragon slayer bow with another bow for backup with poison arrows & either a straight/short sword or a dagger for when they come close just to get them to back off. The build in the video must be fun as hell to use.

@CopyingNinjaKakashi I have one made. Let me just tell you right now. It is easily the funnest thing you'll ever make. And even when you just barely get 20 STR and DEX for the Dragonslayer Greatbow, you're already viable for pvp. Cap STR at 28 and DEX at 40

That's incorrect as of the most recent patch.

Since the Japanese have a later version, it no longer works for full regionless play.

No one goes to the kiln for balanced PvP, they go there under the false pretense of honor and gentlemanly manners while abusing the most obnoxious techniques possible and then act like they're good.

I guess the problem isn't that it's 3v1 while a summoner chugs sunny D, or flips away from me while wearing 140 poise armor and spamming HCSM, it's just that I need to learn to play. Or I invade and fight someone who soul duped all the way to max level, which you can still do. That's not because they're a shitty sport, it's because I need to l2p.

You probably kill invaders half your level after sipping orange juice 7 times and think you're good.

@IAmPhotoBucket Use Dragon Eye Stone, it enforces 1v1 fights with a decent SL restriction so you don't fight SL 700's. Most hosts in Kiln won't drink Estus. If they do, backstab them and/or throw Talismans at them. If you can't avoid HCSM or play around other peoples' poise, then yes, it's a L2P issue.

@steveyb1901 it's Avelyn, a crossbow from the archives. It fires 3 bolts at a time and can be upgraded to +10 fire or +5 lightning like a normal weapon. you can also shoot the lightning bolts that cost 700 souls from the giant blacksmith, for added damage.

@randomisraelite Yes, stats are important in this game. Some only show a significant difference after about 10 points but all stats other than resistance are useful (Depending on character type)

Perhaps, sometime in the future, testing will be done for Vitality gouge builds that supports Resistance over Vitality, but until that time never increase Resistance.
