@CrimsonGetsu These kata demonstrates important principles and taught to use them. For example maai (distance), which is used everywhere. If you do not see the point, it does not mean that it is not. Look not on outward form, but to internal content.
@CrimsonGetsu thats what they all say... they didnt perform anithing of any difficulty what so ever..there is nothing about distance you can learn from, combatans dont just back away as exagerated as that.. its nothing but an anoying little dance.. if they wanto dance they should teach a shitty marcial dancing class or somwhat.. they shouldnt practice ken jutsu because they mis interpret its true art and teach incorrectly

these demonstrations are pretty pointless.. nowadays the arts have become so ritualized it has become a less than effective way to combat
