I saw these guys at my local club last year, and Joel did this thing where he climbed up on the top of his cabs while playing his solo. Then he jumped down, ran through the crowd to the bar, got up on top of the bar and wailed on his guitar in front of the bar waitress. I can imagine she was massively turned on.

Another similarity Airbourne has to ac/dc is that Bon Scott also wasn`t afraid of heights. Bon was a good diver and use to climb high up diving boards and dive into pools. i`m starting to wonder if Joel`s a reincarnation of Bon Scott.

Joel is the best, he knows exactly what he is doing coz he does it at every gig when playing girls in black, and he has been playing in lots of places higher.

This is nothing compared to what he did at some other festivals where they have full-sized festival stages. Also climbing into the line-array speaker towers and playing there. That was at least twice as high as this. Still insane.
