you can use a simple glycerine soap to remove lipsense. im a senegence (lipsense) distributor. all of the senegence long lasting liquid cosmetics can be easily removed w/ glycerin soap. it's dirt cheap!
I was wondering if you found the matte gloss drying at all? I contacted a woman about purchasing and she said the glossy is more moisturizing and some women who had purchased the matte found it a bit too drying. Just wondering your experiences?
I am an older woman with wrinkles around and on my lips and I certainly don't need a lipstick that shimmers and glimmers, bringing more attention to the wrinkles.
I've never seen it anywhere but online. And I havent tried MAC lipstick at all. But other high end matte lipsticks that I have tried don't really compare to Lipsense. This is a stain, not a lipstick. So it has a completely different feeling and effect. :)
can you plz let me know were you got the head ribbon on you head ???lol i dnt know wat is called lol plz thanks i cant not get enought of your viedeos there are awsome love ya !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm...the alcohol in the product deifinitely causes a tingling sensation when it's first applied but I can't imagine that it would 'burn' unless your lips were chapped or cracked. Perhaps you have an allergy to one of the other ingreidents? :)
A good inexpensive lipstain is loreal's in "target red". It's a very true red! I like it a lot, it's more conveinent than reapplying lipstick (especially when it comes to performing- I am a ballet dancer and you dont have time to worry about your makeup during a quick change!)
i just want to say congratulations for your one year! u honestly help me with all your videos even at the last minute i can look u up and know that ull have a hair tutorial for a fabulous hair style made easy for us ive been on youtube for not that long and im glad i choose you for one of my choices to subscribe !
Thank you for this video. Can you please do a video on how to maintain a red lip, mine always smear, etc. with drinking, eating. I am sure you have good advice. Thanks!
I hate that lipsticks fade and all the stainds i try fade a bit once i have a little something to settle my belly; will give this a shot! thanks for putting it out there and remember Cherry Rosesea for the giveaway!
By the end of the day, it should breakdown with a warm, wet cloth and some baby oil or makeup remover. We also have an optional product that is a remover over at the Ever After Cosmetics website. Thanks for asking!
Hi Ash! I just believe you forgot to tell us how to remove the product ): from my experience w/ that kind of product, the best way to take it out is with oil based makeup remover but if you are on a tight budget or don't really want to go buy one, just use olive oil and it'll work just fine.
By the end of the day, it should breakdown with a warm, wet cloth and some baby oil or makeup remover. We also have an optional product that is a remover over at the Ever After Cosmetics website. Thanks for asking!
People with sensitive skin should be careful of LipSense. I used it once and it burnt/eliminated the first layer of my lips, to put it mildly. Quite painful and it took longer than I liked to return back to normal.
I actually have many clients with sensitive skin, and my skin tends to be sensitive as well. I have never heard this feedback before and wonder what could have been the cause. I hope you told your rep about what happened. LipSense is usually very healing to the lips.
I did yes, but unfortunately there was nothing to be done about it. She just said that it appeared my skin was too sensitive for the product. It must run in the family because I later heard the same thing happened with my mom when she tried it.
I love the lip colors on that site, however I do agree with you -- it is very pricey. I think it's something I'll look into buying later on, but at this time it's too much for both products.
Thank you for checking out the site! The great thing about it is you don't have to reapply all day like a regular lipstick, and one tube lasts an average of 6-12 months. Let me know if you have any questions!
No problem! I've been looking for a good lip stain and I was really amazed by the color on Lisa's lips in the last video (before the review when she was wearing it.) -- I don't think I could pull off such a red, because I'm quite pale and have pink undertones, so I think a pink lip stain would look perfect. When I think about it $36 for a lip stain and a gloss is actually not that bad if you think about other products online anyways. What pinks from the collection do you like?
Ooo there are some really pretty pinks. If you go back to the LipSense page on the site and refresh, you should see a link to some swatches. Given what you've told me, I think you'd really like Pink Champagne. Other pretty pinks are Dark Pink, and Rose Ice if you are really fair (it has a bit of mauve to it). If you want to "go red" but not full on, you might find Roseberry is a good choice with your complexion. :)
Thanks so much for the suggestions! Looking at the swatches now helps a lot. I really like Rose Ice, I'd have to say color wise it's one of my favorites on the swatch page. I'll keep your site in mind and will totally purchase from you in the future. :) Thanks for taking the time to reply to my comment, I really appreciate it.
Oh yeah btw, I wanted to ask you what shade you think I should order, the blue based red or the yellow based? I usually wear yellow base reds, but I really don't wanna end up ordering a shade that's bad for my skin tone, that would stink. What would you suggest for me? thanks-xo
Lovely as always doll....I had a feeling you'd review this product. It seems great, I'm definitely gonna get a set before Viva...perfect pout all day!! You'll have to message me all about your night out, have a blastie! -Lu.
Had so much fun in downtown Nashville, Lu. Went for sushi, karaoke, dancing, Waffle House...the whole -sha-bang. Four great girls..beer...a single jello shot. haha. It wasjust right. :)
Oooh! That looks really tempting. The retro red looks movie set perfect! Price is kinda a downside because I want to check out all the glossy finishes. I really love that and the way the color is laid on on that site. Thanks! And happy anniversary! ☺☼☺
I've been nervous about trying a lipstain for a long time because I wanted something that I wouldnt have to reapply, but it was always too much money for me to just buy and test. This helps so much!
my one question about these lipstains is how do you get them OFF your lips? my lips absorb pigment even just from regular lipstick and i wonder how you'd wash the lipstain off?
i think after eight hours or so it should fade a little...maybe use vaseline? my lips are the same way and normally vaseline or aquaphor gets lipstick off. and if it doesn't totally come off i'm sure you could cover it with concealer
the best oil to use is olive... I also make a sugar scrub with it and my skin is so soft, but it should be organic... don't want to put pesticides on your face
ive used other lipstains w/ a gloss on top and to remove them ive always just used makeup remover wipes. i am not sure how much this brand "sticks" but the stuff i have is pretty thick, and glossy and it comes off no problem.
At last what I was looking for! Shame I live in Spain and the shipping would make it even more expensive... :( Are there any other products similar to this that are more affordable? I think I'm moving to the States lol Thank you so much for uploading, I love all of your vids :)
I like that color on your lips. Very pretty I think. As for the price.. it's a tad on expensive side, but think it would last you for a good while. Compare it to some of the name brands at department store, and still its pretty good value. I like the scarf wrapped on your head. Plus I love music that came at end of video. Thanks Lisa and have a great week.
wow thats great....1 year already. Gotta love give aways.....I have to get me some of that lip gloss or stain or whatever its classified as. Having my lipstick rub off was a constant deturent to wear it, so that would help alot. great video....
congrats on your yiutube anniversary!!! i always loved your videos. I appreciate you taking your time to make them, since you have kids and all!!! Never stop making them, please!!!

Pricewise the product is equivalent to 3 or 4 tubes of lipsticks, so the cost should not be a big concern.

No, not like the Maybelline. After about 6 or 7 hrs, you may see some minimal flaking but this is definitely the best of its kind, that I've tried.
