@wetheghost You might be right, but back in 2002 on 103.1 KDL dance music radio station, he was on a live interview where he himself said that his sister sang this originally and he opted for using the version that he sang. It is kind of like the song "SIdewalks talk, which was Madonna with Jelly Bean, and Madonna doesn't get much credit. Anyway, that is what I heard live on the radio. There is somtimes confusion, like with Black Box being sued by Martha Wash,who was actually the singer.
